They weren't the only ones and Jason squirmed a bit under the views. "No one saw that." He said,crossing his arms as his body shook slightly.

Ash walked up to him, murmuring. "You don't dance, huh? To me, looks like you do. Very well." Ash lowered his head, his lips grazing Jason's ear, unaware of the audience. "We have company," he murmured, his breath cool on his skin. A pair of slitted golden orbs stared at Jason from a table, floating in midair above the flowery centerpiece. Grimalkin appeared, bushy tail curled around himself, watching Jason. No one else in the room seemed to notice a large gray cat sitting in the middle of the table; maybe it was because of Jason's awesome dancing. Puck met them at the edge of the dance floor, indicating hed seen Grimalkin too. .

Jason felt heat come to his face at the compliment but pushed it aside in his mind and nodded as he looked over and saw the cat. He nodded to Puck and seemed relieved as soon the eyes drifted from him as Lila pumped up another one of his favorite songs, 'Brass:By Dirty Rush & Gregor Es'. Only faint yellow in his freckle scales gave away that he'd enjoyed dancing,only a little bit again if not fully yet. Four years,can't burst for joy at that but~ he still wasn't depressed about it.

"Hello, Prince," he purred, regarding Ash through half-lidded eyes. "Nice to see you are not evil...well...you know. I assume you are here for the scepter, as well?"

"Among other things." Ashs voice was cold; fury rippled below the surface, and the air around him turned chilly. He didnt just want the scepter; he was out for revenge.

Jason caught the hint of what else Ash was out for and assumed he was out for revenge for them stealing the scepter and killing his elder brother Sage. He shivered faintly at the cold he felt in the air,freckles turning icey blue for a moment before turning rainbow before he washed them over as normal colored as possible.

"Did you find anything, Grim?" Puck asked. Grimalkin sneezed once and stood, waving his tail. His gold eyes were suddenly serious. "I think you had best see this for yourself," he replied. Leaping off the table, he slipped through the crowds and out the door.


Outside, it was bitingly cold. Ahead of them, Grimalkin slipped around a corner like a furry ghost, barely visible in the shadows. They followed him down the corridors, past numerous classrooms, and into the parking lot, where he stopped at the edge of the sidewalk, gazing out over the blacktop.

Jason followed,limping slightly but trying to hold it back as he kept close. He stopped behind Grim and stared out where he was,eyes searching.

The entire lot--pavement, cars, the old yellow bus in the distance--was covered with a fine sheeting of white powder that sparkled under the moonlight. "No way. Is that...snow?" Puck bent and scooped up a handful of the white drifts. Wet, cold and crumbly. It couldnt be anything else. "Whats going on? It never snows here."

"The balance is off," Ash said grimly, gazing around the alien landscape. "Winter is supposed to hold the power right now, but with the scepter gone, the natural cycle is thrown off. So you get events like this." He gestured to the snowy parking lot. "It will only get worse, unfortunately."

Jason stared at it,shocked. He swept his tail over some of it,the cool texture reminding him of the snow dragons back in the dragon realm. "We have to put things back.If this is going to get worse we have to figure this out,and we can't just throw ourselves into a pool of sharks this time. We have to know what we're doing and quick." He said,stamping a foot down in frustration.

"There is a rumor on the streets of a great gathering of Iron fey in a factory in downtown San Jose. We located it, and it looks abandoned, so perhaps Virus has not gathered her army yet."
