"I have to go to my mother's on Friday." He explains. "I'll be gone a day or two, maybe three."

She frowns, sitting up. "That's okay!" She quickly brightens, though the smile she puts on is fake. "Make sure you make friends while your there, okay?" She says quickly. "I-I'm gonna go tell Maven to make you lunch, I'll have a maid bring it up to you..." She quickly explains, hugging him again before walking out.

"Y-You can come with, if you want!" He quickly offers.

She looks back at him, chuckling sadly. "No thank you, you should have family time alone. Get a break from this drama for a while, ya know?" She chuckles. "I think I might do the same actually, get away with Dawson and Michelle." She states, nodding to herself.

He looks down at the ground. "I think my mother would like meeting you.." He adds shyly.

"I'm not ready to do the whole parent thing, I-I'd love to meet her, but I think I'd just be reminded too much of my own..." She states sadly, smiling up at him reassuringly before waving to him as she walks down the stairs.

He frowns and stares at the ground.

She regrets declining his offer immediately, but he needed a break from her and her dramatic life.

He sighs and sits back on the bed.

She comes back up, sitting next to him on the bed just as a maid walks in with a tray of food for him.
