Max smiles. "Sometimes you forget."

Carl smiles. " Yep. Hey Nathaniel, did oyu ask Jules if she liked you yet?" he boy asks in his raspy voice.

Leon takes a swig of the drink, gagging some. "Round two?"

Jules glares at the woman. "I'm sorry but do I even know you?" She asked feeling defensive.

Nathaniel smiled. "Nah. I wanna wait till tomorra." He said ruffling the boy's hair. "Ya two okay in here?" He asked looking at Madison.

Madison smiled. "Yup." She yawned a little.

Kara chuckles a little. "Come on. It isn't that bad." She said walking over to the board and pulling off the darts walking back over to Leon holding one out to him. "Want to go first this time?" She asked feeling good. She almost wanted to slap herself for actually starting to fall for him. She knew that when she got drunk she melted a little to someone who she barely recognized.

Max smiles. "Not sure, im Max though." she holds a hand out to the girl.

Carl yawns to. "Ok, maybe she will sleep with you tonight. Thats how mommy and daddy slept when they loved each other."

Leon smiles taking to dart. He throws it getting almost the the center of the bulls eye. "Beat that" he mocks.

Jules looks at Max's hand. "Nice to meet you Max. I'm Jules." She said looking at Max's face ad shaking her hand lightly.

Nathaniel stiffened his eyes wide his checks getting a little pink. "Nah. She won't." He said still a little in shock.

Madison smiled. "Be nice to him. Maybe he wants to practice having kids a little bit more by playing with us." She said laughing as Nathaniel got off the bus.

Kara tilted her head raising an eyebrow. She threw the dart it landing right in the back of his making them both fall of the board still connected. "I think that's a tie. Oh and have I told you I've been playing darts since I was Opal's age?" She said smiling brightly taking another swig of the vodka wiping off her mouth a little.

Max smiles. "So you going to speak with him again?"

Carl follows Nathaniel "why wouldn't she?"

Leon smiles. "I was natural aim is all." He looks at her. "Is there any chance me and you could...you know..."

Jules raises her eyebrow. "Of course I will. Just not this second."

Nathaniel sighs. "'Cause." He said shoving his hands in his pockets. "Ya should go to bed."

Kara spits out the mouthful of vodka. "Please don't finish that question..." She said feeling angry that he was ruining the night. She was actually enjoying herself but that dumb move for anyone to make.

Max nods. "I think they are talking about you.." She says looking at Carl

Carl smiles. "You should asks her to sleep with you, she may like that."

Leon holds his hands up. "Wait I was not done! Can we be friends?" He wanted to slap himself.

Jules stares at her in disbelief. "How do you figure?"

Nathaniel's mouth dropped open and his face became serious. "Carl. Let e tell ya somethin'. My dad, he was a really bad guy. He didn't treat my mum right when I was your age. He forced her ta do a whole lot of bad stuff. I promised ta never be like him." He said looking Carl in the eye. "Ya should never ask a lady ta do that. Even if she doesn't really want it she'll agree ta it f it makes ya happy. Promise ya won't?" He asked the boy.

Kara turned icy eyes to him. "That's not what you were going to ask earlier." She said bluntly finishing the bottle in a swig and slamming it down on the counter. She sighed her face looking upset now instead of angry. "Let's just forget the whole question thing okay?" She said not looking at him.

Margo cleared her throat and held out the small amount of cookies to Martain and Ash.

Max shrugs. "Just a feeling."

Carl was confused. "What do you mean? I was talking about sleeping in the same bed, snuggling. Dad like to snuggle mommy."

Leon let his jaw drop some. "What? No! I would never have asked for you to sleep with me, at least not until you suggested it." Leon felt his face grow red. "Sorry I was just afriad of your answer. Can we be friends though?"

Jules sighed. "Really I doubt they're talking about me. They don't have a reason to..."

Nathaniel sighed. "It might not sound that important but it's a pretty big step."

Kara sighed. "Yeah sure." She smiled a little wiping at her eyes a little. "I think Opal thinks we already are." She said with a sigh. "Sorry. I misjudged you. I do that a lot..." She said walking over to the dart board picking up the two darts that were still stuck together. She sighed spinning them in her hand. "Which is probably why I don't really do having friends."
