before she could ask him to stay he left. She got kinda sad again and rolled over on her side and pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them letting out a sigh

Vania was tired but some how couldnt sleep so she slid over to the side of the bed and placed her feet on the ground silently looking around

Yahaira chuckles and playfully punches his arm. "You need to watch yourself, mister. Who knows, maybe one day my nice streak will end."
Nothing jumped out at Vania - yet. The night was quiet, warm still from the heat of the day though a small cool breeze pushed through the blanketing warmth occasionally.

Vania got to her feet gently and looked out the entrance the guards were sleep against the wall which made her sigh, she stepped out of the medical den and walk alongside the wall so she doesn't fall she was happy to get some fresh air but scared from whats in the darkness.

Yahaira smiles and bumps Luke's shoulder with her head, rubbing against him like a cat would. She didn't feel like there needed to be words spoken, so she stays silent.
It wasn't all darkness, last night had been a new moon, so a sliver of the moon was showing. The twinkling stars sitting against the midnight sky, combined with the sliced of the moon, was still not enough to see things clearly, only a faint hazy outline of what was around.

Luke walked with her till he got to his den
Vania walked out into the grass she sat on a rock closer to the pride and layed on her back looking up at the stars

Yahaira thanks Luke for walking with her before asking if she could crash at his den, not too eager to head to her den in the dark. Even before Vania had gotten ambushed in the night, Yahaira had been afraid of the dark.

Vania managed to fall asleep on the rock curled up tightly
