Micah glanced at Ray and smiled reassuringly. He lightly bumped Ray's shoulder with his own. "I won't let him hurt you," he promised.

Ray finds himself smiling back, calming down with Micah's words.
Riley looks about to argue, probably saying something about how Ray was positively getting into Micah's head. Instead he grumbled to himself about how people underappreciated him.

Micah glanced back at Riley. "I appreciate you, just not when you're threatening my friends."

Riley: You can't love someone you just met. Ray: Watch me.

Riley shakes his head, "You just met him, you can't tell a thing about him."
" Right, if that's really how things work, how come you judged that I would be bad. " Ray asks.
"Because better be prepared for the worst than it take you by surprise." Riley says.
"..." Ray decided not to push.

"I know that he's really nice. And that I can trust him." Micah said, smirking. "Anyone who puts himself in danger for a kid he just met is good in my book."

"You sure he's not doing that just to gain your trust so he can stab you in the back later?" Riley inquires.
"I'm. Not. A. Monster! I'm not evil, ok? I wouldn't want to hurt anyone, especially not Micah because I like him more than I've ever loved anyone else." Ray says, not wanting Riley to continue to think bad of him.
Riley looks at Ray before at Micah. "You and Micah, huh?"

Micah glanced at Ray, surprised, then looked away in an attempt to hide his smile and growing blush.

When Ray realizes he slipped up, he blushes and says to Riley, "Ignore what I just said." Riley smirks.
"That's kind of hard to do." Riley says in a way that meant others would hear about it. Ray was about to say something before he spotted the cyclops and had to warn people of the cyclops instead of continue this useless banter.

Micah ducked behind a tree, dragging Ray and Riley with him. "How should we attack it?" He looked to Riley when he asked that, figuring the son of Ares would know.

"Well, cyclops are one eyed. I bet they have a blind spot. We approach from there, like out their eye and then we can do whatever we want with it. We could," Riley went on a long rant about what they could do to the poor monster.
"How about we just kill it when we get in reach." Ray suggests.
