Jason raised him eyebrows,not scared but shocked. He seemed confused on why Grim had done that. "I'm noticing what you meant by things seeming different but...don't you need to get back?" His gaze darted a bit around to see if Ash was close by but he drowned out the hope with his curiosity. His tone was back to a jockey flirt again just not to up beat anymore.

Ash was close. Very close, in fact. He was right next to Jason this time. Grim sighed and flicked his tail. "Norrgens," the cat sighed. "Disgusting things. Terrified of cats, if you believe it. He was probably banished from the Nevernever at some point. That would explain his words to you, wanting you to send him back. And we'll get back by another portal."

Jason's heart lept as he realized Ash was right there but he refused to show it as he gave a simple flirty wave and a half smile before looking back to Grim with his hands to his sides. "Hm.Interesting,and good to know. Wouldn't want you both stuck here,it's not horrible but the human realm isn't the best place. I'm going to go to the dragon realm so I can help fight instead of just get myself pointed at here."

Grimalkin started down the sidewalk as the sun set over the horizon and the streetlamps flickered to life. There was fey everywhere, walking past them, hanging out in dark alleys, stealing over the rooftops or skipping along the power lines.

Jason was shocked at all these things he'd not seen before. He drifted close to an alley that was empty,same as he had before he and Ash had met. He planed on a full shift then to fly quickly up and to tear open a portal before he was seen. "Well....not like I think you'd care but I'm going to go rip some scales off of some dragons for a few days." He said,softly and casually.

"No," Ash said firmly. "Stay. It's either that or I turn you to solid ice," he said casually, shrugging. "Your decision."

For once,Jason gave Ash a cold glare,not one hint of any softness. "And why should I stay,I'm needed to help fight a war,and I could easily burn you to a crisp." He countered,his tone not so casual as before.

"And I could turn you into my new statue. And, just so you know, I'm needed for war as well, and you are my prisoner. You either come with us or you starve for air for all eternity. I've heard it's not very nice when ice fills your lungs."

He huffed a sigh,crossing his arms over his chest. "Fine....." He grumbled,his freckle scales showed a bit again,only because of the faint red on the edges.

Grim rolls his eyes at the fight. He led them down several more streets and suddenly stopped. Across the street, a two-story dance club, lit with pink and blue neon lights, radiated in the darkness. The sign proclaimed it Blue Chaos. Young men and women lined up outside the club, the lights sparkling off earrings, metal studs, and bleached hair. Music pounded the walls outside.
"Here we are," Grimalkin said, sounding pleased with himself. "The energy around a trod never changes, though when I was here last this place was different."
