Desta looks at the ground, "I know a little bit about tracking so if we can go back to where we lost them I might be able to pick up a trail."

Jax places a comforting hand on my shoulder, Fidelis nickers softly, and Angel curls up closer to me. I then realize that I am not alone.
"Let's find the others," Jax says calmly. Then there is a loud rustle from the bushes nearby the clearing where we stopped. A large horse blunders into the clearing
"Let's find them quickly," Jax says and Fidelis charges off

Loki lifts his head and looks around thinking he heard a crash in the distance.

Ghosts ears twitch at the sound. I can jump far and high enough. Why?

Maverick nodded and retraced their tracks to the spot they lost everyone.

Desta got off Val and looks at the ground, "Horse tracks from the group. They branched off I can't tell who went with who though."

"The double tracks are probably Loki, Ghost, and Vicky. The one set is Vanilla and Jax."

"Victoria," he said automatically. She was his sister, and he had just met the newbies, so they weren't even in the same ballpark that him and Victoria had connection wise. Besides, he was willing to risk his life for his sister.
