the chief speaks "her name is rocket and she's a wild horse if you plan on doing anything with her you'll have to past the three day ritual that asks the spirits if you are right for the wild horse"

He didn't respond, as he was now giving Rocket a deserving scratch behind her ears and the stable girl was no longer run his interest. Throughly annoyed with Luca, he just tuned her out completely and focused on Rocket. After a moment, he decided to reply, "Well you may have 'lost a lot of horses to newcomers' but I lost my horse to Lymphosarcoma. So don't complain that new people want to love and care for the horses." He leveled a displeased glare at her, and was about to say more when he heard the chief cut in. Looking him in the eye, Isaiah very calmly stated, "What gives you the right to test people and see if there horses are right for them?" Rocket also flattened her ears further, while she couldn't understand the human language she knew whenever the chief spoke in that order of letters then he was doing the odd multi-day test and meddling with things. Isaiah wasn't quite done yet, he continued "If Rocket wants to be my horse, that's up to her. I am not religious, and I disagree with the practice of asking 'spirits' if I can have my horses or not. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to unpack. At least now I know my old mare's saddle and equipment will go to good use. Good day." He almost spat the last two words. Patting Rocket's side, he began to lead the quarter horse away. He was angry and hurt by these people , and decided he'd avoid going near here again except to use the yard to train Rocket.Looking at Rocket, he decided the mare looked content enough and called back, "Don't worry, you won't be seeing much of me anymore. I can tell I'm unwelcome here, so I'll take up the offer a local gave me and buy that barn and stable grounds on the other side of town. " Rocket looked back at Luca, confused, but trotted along with Isaiah anyway. Isaiah kinda hoped that she'd call out to him, that maybe he'd misunderstood her.

the chief speaks "the wild horses are protected under the natives meaning you have to obey the law and unless you want a legal battle i suggest you leave rocket here"

snowfall trotted infront of him huffing she looked at snowfall then back to the new comer then laughed "oddly enough snowfall hates you so i'll trust you," she said smiling "that horse sure has a bad judgement of people," she said smiling.

"Protected under the natives? Seriously?" Isaiah was furious now. But, taking a deep breath, he conceded , "I still refuse your test, it's not right. And if I find out the horses aren't really all owned by you guys, I will take this to court." Turning to Rocket, he murmured something softly to the mare and stroked her mane for a moment, before returning to Luca and the chief with her. Turning around, he muttered " I hope you two are real proud of yourselves. " It made him happy that Luca trusted him, but the chief was right and he couldn't keep Rocket, so he was still angry and upset none the less. Then he walked away to find the local offering the barn and stable, as Rocket gave confused chuffs and stood there, balking and tilting her head. She had no idea what was going on, but she'd liked that human and now he was leaving. She had a deep suspicion the chief had said or done something, as she watched the dejected human go. He heard Rocket's balking, and that only made it harder to go. But he did, pulling up his hood and slinking away at the unfairness of it all.

she was still giggling and took a deep breath "oh well i'm gonna go soon," she smiled leading snowfall off "and ps snowfall never had the trial," she giggle with an evil grin.

Isaiah heard Luka's comment about Snowfall never having a trial and almost visibly bristled. "then maybe she isn't the horse for you, and you're the cause to her endless suffering. Better ask the spirits of dead people, right? "He then turned the corner and was out of sight. Rocket was appalled by Luka's giggling and Isaiah's anger and she sat, staring after him. Her ears flattened and she had fallen silent, angry that the one who paid attention to her and only her had gone. She chuffed angrily at the chief and Luka, decidedly blaming them. Snowfall didn't help either, Rocket grumbled something rude at the shire softly and lay down, now in a sour mood since Luka was getting ready to leave and she'd be alone.

she laughed "oh im going to need more cake for this trip," she said trying to throw them off. she was going to head to the village to sell her pies.

I dunno why Luca is throwing a wild horse who can't understand English and her chief off her trail to sell pie and I also don't know how to respond to that so waiting for Dill pickle to return I guess >.<
