Thief became the gastly and floated up, before becoming normal and falling on Ladyba, using Scratch in the process.
(Also, Thiefs moves are:
Scratch
Foul play
Taunt
Pursuit)

(I think you misunderstand Zorua's abilities slightly, Zorua doesn't transform like ditto does, it can't use any of the abilities of what it copies, it just makes itself look like other things)
Silver used pursuit on the Ladyba, making it faint before going back to using pursuit on the gastly as well and making it faint.
"Okay! Now we just have to battle the last teams and then we win!" Rei says excitedly.

Rei gets their teams healed by Emily again before heading to start the last fight. The two girls that Rei and Cole were fighting sent out an alolan meowth and a pikipek.
*Okay Marina, youre up first!* Rei sent out her water type Pokmon, since the fairy type moving disarming voice would give her an advantage against meowth.

Coal jumped out, growling. He shot an Ember at the Pikipek, and kept shooting them in case it flew away.

With the combination of ember and disarming voice, the pikipek and Meowth fainted soon enough after landing a few attacks of their own. The girls sent out a pichu and slowpoke next. The slowpoke aimed a yawn and watergun at coal and pichu used a spark on marina, causing her to faint.
*Okay then, Trickster, youre up next!* Rei sent out her Zorua.

Trickster attacked the slowpoke, blocking the water type attacks from hitting Coal even though it was still doing damage to her. She finally fainted after managing to take down the slowpoke but unable to withstand being attacked by two Pokmon at once.
The odds were turned 2 to one after Silver was sent out alongside Coal to fight the remaining pichu
