I look at the image frozen to place in shock 'my god he is cute, wait what am I thinking we're friends' I shake my head and looked at Trace in shock.

He nods, tucking the picture back into his pocket. "He was their youngest est subject, they messed up and... well..." He nods to his brothers shifting form. "He's stronger, now never able to shift back to what he once was."

I look at where he put the image and nod slowly, "now I understand why he's always in that half form" I say slightly shocked.

"Cole and Clare's mother couldn't take it, she didn't want them either because something got them to be able to shift to. She thought they were monsters, she ran from them." He sighs, looking over at his brother with sympathy.

I looked at Trace in shook "so she jus left?"

He nods, clenching his fists. "She was horrible to him, he just couldn' bear to leave her. He loved her but she hated him, she was always ordering him around. He knew he should have left her but he still loved her.

I growled lowly goddess if Landon had done that to me I would have killed him, I hissed in anger and look over at Rei... in sympathy and slightly upset with the person who hurt him.

Trace stands as Rei growls loudly, he watches Rei. Rei lays there, continuously shifting back and forth. His fists clench against the bed sheet, his back arches in pain as he stops shifting. Trace puts an arm in front of Sammy, gently easing her back to the door. "He's going to ruin his room in a minute, get out." He quickly snaps, rushing out of the room and tugging her with him. He quickly shuts the door behind him.

I try to fight Trace but he is must stronger at the moment and I just slide down the wall on the other side of the door and stare at it.

Rei sits up with a loud snarl, Cole and Clare rush up the stairs, standing beside Trace and staring at the door in pain. "He's doing it again?" Cole quietly whispers to Trace. Trace quickly brings them into a hug, "He'll be alright..." Trace whispers as many thuds and snarls are heard in the room.
