"Just leave me alone, Asher."
"Why? Don't want any company?"
"No!" Not your company, anyway...Lily thought.
"Well just let me ask this, what about back there?"
Lily knew what he was talking about. "Okay. I let you ask it. Now get out of my life."
Asher snorted. "Good luck with that," and he walked away.

Anthony had fallen asleep on the chair but woke up to the smell of cooked meat. He opened the oven and used something to pull out the meat.

Lily was about ready to cry again.

Anthony heard there confrontation. He put the platter on the top of the stove to let it cool and went to go find Asher. He was about ready to have a talk with him. A hopeful good talk without fighting.

Asher was on the couch. He was thinking about Lily.

Lily came down and saw Asher. She stayed quiet and watched.

"Asher... Can I talk to you outside?" Anthony asked keeping the anger out of his voice. He wasn't about to let his guests be hurt by this man. He barely knew any of them but he wasn't about to let this man be mean to the princess.

"Sure."
Lily decided to follow them.

"Asher... I'm not about to let you be mean to my guests. I don't intend on hurting you but if you dare cross the line. I won't hesitate." Anthony growled. He let his anger show. His body was shaking slightly.

Asher stayed calm and played dumb. "What line? Be nean to who?"

Lily trembled with rage. She hated Asher right now.

"I am not stupid. I'm not an idiot! Her mother would not make her mad! And you think I'm just gonna stand by and let you harass her! It's not happening... I am trying to give you a chance... But... You are starting to tear apart my tolerance." Anthony growled.
