I pet Birdie, then let him have a couple of pieces, split the rabbit in half for Tav to have some, and take off another a small bit to feed to Seir.

I keep an eye on them while they are playing, and ask Seir to keep an eye on Tav and Birdie while I look for firewood.

I then look for leaves and other materials to make a mat to sleep on.

The cave doesn't seem to drab anymore. With a bit of work, this could be a good permanent home.
