Jace Mason




I'd sigh. "Let's get going then, we need to get out of here before we get into trouble." I'd say, kind of hasted, since i know something is off. I'd grab April and Rafe by the hands and walk with them out, already heading toward's my house.

"But we just got here! Can we please go see more?" Rafe begged. "I've never been to the city before an I really don't want to leave yet."

Jace Mason




I'd sigh. "I'll take you again later, but something is...off." I'd say, my eyes narrowing. "I will take you to see more next time." I'd look at Rafe. "I promise."

The rabbits ears droop. "Alright." Rafe said sadly as he hopped along after them. "I just wish there was a way we could stay."

(Fun fact: Rafe is based off of my actual pet rabbit.)

"Application papers. " Rhys says. "Well I know now that they can't put you on the paperwork duty at least."

April
I look over my shoulder and see the batman from before, my eyes widen with fear. I clench Jace's hand but say nothing, for I fear the consequences of the man disappearing before the police get to the store. Jace would be taken and it might be my fault. I keep my lips sealed as I watch him fill up on goods, then walk out of the store unnoticed. Somehow I felt like that was wrong, didn't Jace trade something for the stuff he got?

Gray
Out of the corner of my eye I watch April watching me. I'd have to thank her later for not pointing me out, maybe, but she couldn't have done it for my benefit. I smirk, and walk through the nearby alleyways back to the nearest entrance to my home. Fox-girl can live yet another day.

I'd look down at April. "You alright, you seem a bit spooked." I'd say, before approaching the toll gate again and handing the man inside something.

"It's just... I saw that guy again..." I whisper, letting go of his hand with shyness to the close feeling. "He makes me feel strange, not in a bad way though. I think he is hiding something, I sense anger and frustration but I don't think it's me." I say, seemingly staring off into the distance but really just thinking.

I'd sigh. "I figured he isn't a bad guy, no one truly is unless they killed someone." I'd say, with a more mono tone voice. "I would help him, but i don't know him."

"Do you think I should ask him...?" My voice trembles a bit, but I couldn't decide. He had tried to kill me, he might again. I should probably stay with who I know I can trust, but I can't help but feel concerned. I want to make sure he is okay, but it could be dangerous.
