A'ine heard the fear in Ember's thoughts. She slowly backed out of her friends mind and focused fully on Jora. She tried blocking some of the fear from Jora thinking it might help Ember a little. She then mind-spoke to Jora. 'Jora, listen to me. No one cares about your fire. Least of all Orion.'


(I forgot what I was going to type D:)

"Ember?! What's wrong?" Orion asked. Ember was trembling by now. "I'm fine, this happens all the time," said Ember. "What do you mean by that?" Orion asked. "Nothing!" Ember said, wrapping her arms around herself. Orion didn't know what to do. "Ember...."

(I hate when that happens. Especially when it's a really good idea, and you forget.)

A'ine couldn't help but feel Ember's fear raising a little. She wonder what was going on and decided to go into Orion's mind to find out. 'Orion, Just drop it. I'm trying to help her now.' She turned back to looking for Jora. She found her crying in the bushes and knelt down next to her. "Jora, it's okay. No one is scared of you, and no one hates you or thinks you're ugly." She pulled Jora into a hug and let her cry a little more.

Jora kept crying her fear slowly leaving as she cried. "Why are you being so nice? You of all people should know how much of a freak I really am." She said her words muffled a little by A'ine's shoulder. "You're not a freak. People who are jealous of what other's have try and tear them down. You are beautiful and nothing is wrong with you." She said feeling the vibes from Jora's mind. She smiled and rubbed Jora's back. "And if you want to learn to swim who else is a better teacher for swimming then a hippocampus? I even have a spare swimming suit if you want it." Jora nodded. "Okay that'd be great."

Orion hated standing there, being told not to help when both Jora and Ember obviously needed help. He put a hand on Ember's shoulder. "Ember, no one's out to hurt you," he said. She turned to look up at Orion. "I'm not scared. This fear is someone else's," she said. Orion looked at her in confusion. "What do you mean?" he asked as he let his hand fall to his side.

Ember shook her head. "Nothing," she said, turning away from him. "It doesn't matter. Whatever it was, it's over," she said, not wanting to explain her situation to Orion. Even though Orion knew A'ine was telepathic, and he was fine with that, she didn't want to explain it. She saw Orion looking at her with worry in his eyes, out of the corner of her eye. "C'mon, let's find the other two," she said, beginning to walk in the direction of A'ine and Jora.

Orion followed Ember, wondering what she had been talking about, and if Jora was alright now.

A'ine smiled and stood up. She held out her hand for Jora to help her up. "Come on. We better get going if you don't want Orion's First view of the sunset to be from under trees." Jora took her hand and pulled herself up. "Wow, I guess you know me better then I know myself..." A'ine smiled and put her arm around Jora's shoulder. "I guess I do." They laughed a little as the started walking back to where she had left Ember and Orion. Jora still looked a little distressed but she was smiling a little now.

Orion was glad to see Jora smiling a bit, but at the same time he felt a tiny bit jealous of A'ine. You wanted Jora to have more friends, right? So why are you jealous? he thought to himself. He continued walking toward Jora and A'ine, and despite his jealousy, he was glad that Jora wasn't crying.

Ember smiled when she saw the two girls emerge from the woods. 'A'ine, how's Jora? she sent.

A'ine smiled a little when she felt Orion's jealousy. She didn't mean to but she was too tired to try and stop feeling anything. She looked over at Ember. 'A little shaky but fine.' She turned her attention to Orion. "Hey, I sorta told Jora I'd help you teach her to swim." She looked over at Ember then Orion. "So you guys want to swim tomorrow afternoon?" She asked smiling as Jora was still trying to clam down. She was looking down at the dirt avoiding looking at Orion.

"Sounds good!" Orion says, his jealousy lessening. He turned his attention to Jora. "Are you okay?" He asked, wondering why she wouldn't look at him.

Ember hesitated for a second. "I guess... Actually, it sounds kinda fun," she said, beginning to warm up to the idea. 'That's good.' Ember sent.

A'ine smiled glad that it would work out okay for everyone. She looked down at Jora now too. 'It's okay. He's not scared of you in the least.' Jora shook her head like she was trying to get rid of a thought. A'ine smiled a bit when she realized Jora was trying to get her out of her mind. She sighed and turned her attention back to Ember. "Hey, I'm tired, Roomie, Want to go to bed?" She offered thinking that more people around was what was getting to Jora. A'ine let her arm fall off of Jora and stepped a little away from her over to A'ine.


(Okay... now I want to do the whole swimming thing net, don't you?)

"Sure," said Ember. She turned, and began to walk toward the school. She glanced over her shoulder see if A'ine was following her.

Orion looked worriedly at Jora. Why is she acting like this? Is it something I did? He didn't know what to say, so he decided to change the subject. (Which doesn't really make sense since they were never talking in the first place. XD) "You know, I think we could still make the sunset if we hurry..." he says.

(My axe broke. *throws broken axe pieces onto the ground*)
