The students groan in both annoyance and frustration, Scarlett just sighed and started to think about what she should write on the topic. She wasn't one to complain much, she didn't really think it mattered much.
Steven did the same, raising his hand to ask if they could do it with partners.

He nodded towards Steven, his eyes bright with mischief as he listened to his students' complaints.

"Are we allowed to do the essay with partners?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't see why not." He said, shrugging as he sat behind his desk.

He looked at Scarlett and hummed, asking if she would like to partner with him. She said yes, not minding much.

He looked up to see the class staring at him expectantly. He glanced at the clock, shrugging, "Class dismissed." Forty minutes early, though.

Everyone began to get up

"See ya around, kids." He mutters, spinning in his chair like a child.

Scarlett waved goodbye and Steven bowed for a goodbye before they left.

As the rest of the students filed out the door, he flicked his wrist, letting out a relieved sigh when the door shut. He turned the chair to the window, smiling proudly. "I did it,"
