Collin set the meat in front of Kai and started munching on one of the pastries. "Go ahead and try one on the apples Kaladin." He spoke up, gesturing to the three he'd brought back. Kal glanced up curiously, reaching over with his free hand to take one.

Kai snaps up the meat tearing into it with her sharp teeth before quickly woofing it down. Soon enough Kai chews on the bones left from the meat, trying to get any additional nutrients from them.
"Guess someone was hungry," Selkie mutters as he eats.
"So did you notice anything while you were getting food, Collin," Starlight asks.
