Shroud gives you a cold look.
Shroud: No doubt you're only working here for Shards.
He leans forward.
Shroud: However, it doesn't matter if I tell you or not, because I know you won't reveal anything. Especially if your life hangs in the balance.

I haughtily smirk, shrug my shoulders and strut off, continuing on with work but not before drawling out:

Me: You know most people work for the money, darling. Not all of us are ruffians and gotta make a living somehow.

Shroud: Depends on what you use the earnings for. And please refrain from addressing me with endearments.

All I do is turn smoothly, wink, and walk away. Strutting my stuff and moving on to serve/clean other tables.

((Yes! I always do that but I'm always too shy in reality unless I'm with friends, then I'm usually a wildcard. XD And you didn't say, should I give her a name..? I can go look up a name I see fitting her.))

Without hearing the Shroud, I continue to work. I try making some friends along my shift, hoping to find some companionship.

A couple of Hunters enter the tavern. Though they don't look at you, you can feel their gazes following you around the room.
