Basil

"What do you mean? You want to explore? I'm not sure...Depends. Does it have to be life threatening? i think I had enough for today." She said with a giggle

Scias
He climbed onto Zeth's shoulder at this point, not wanting to be ignored any long as he gave a stern, questioning look at Traqil.

"No, more of hiding. They want us to be an experiment. Maybe put us into the breeding program, so we should hide."

Zethrin

She hadn't noticed Scias on her shoulder just yet. "On a less inappropriate subject, I did bring a good friend along. His name is hexic. Hexic, this is my honorary brother Traqil, but you can call him tracy." She said with a teasing laugh that was rewarded with Traqil digging his fingers into her side and tickling. Zeth laughed uncontrollably and ended up collapsing onto the floor just to escape.

Traqil

"That's what you get you little trouble maker....Is this him, he he the guy? No...you don't have the eyes when you look at him." Traqil stooped down and picked up Scias from The gasping girl on the floor. "What a peculiar pet..."

Zethrin

She dusted herself off and stood. "You know the eyes are just a myth. I didn't have it with Quilin, so it can't be real." Zeth could only see the back half of Scias while Traqil was observing him. "Wha?"


Basil

"So which is it, Hide or don't?"

Scias
"..The eyes? What are you even talking about?"
Scias would be more offended about being picked up, but he was more than used to this sort of thing already.

"Wait... Scias? What are you doing here?"

Hexic walked over to Scias Zethrin and Tracy. He didn't mind that Scias was here, except for the fact that he couldn't even go into his regular form. Shouldn't he be resting?

Traqil

"Our kind's eye theoretically color changes when they finally realize they have found their partners. It doesn't happen immediately, it takes time, but it is very obvious when it happens." Traqil answered, unfazed that the rat started speaking, Zeth on the other hand was furious.

Zeth

"Scias? Why the hell would you sneak along? You know you are not strong enough to be going anywhere. And don't listen to Traqil, he doesn't know what he is talking about. It has only ever happened a few time, and it wasn't from love or whatever crap Quilin used to put into your head. The eyes is a cringy stupid wives tale"


Traqil

"Oh but I know it's real! I have seen it" he insisted in his deep soft voice, to which zethy just rolled her eyes.

Scias
"Wait.. So like permanently? That's pretty cool, honestly." Scias laughed weakly. "What if you got like hot pink or rainbow eyes or something, then you'd have a real reason to keep them shut all the time."
He made himself comfortable in Traqil's hand. "And besides, I was uh.. worried about you."

He wasn't going to admit to being jealous of Hexic hanging out with her, no ****ing way.
