Once he was confident his aim was right, Kaladin released the arrow with an exhale.

Melany watches the arrow fly with baited breath.

While the arrow struck just shy of a bullseye, Kaladin appeared to be quite a decent shot.

Starlight smiles, "Good shot Kaladin."


Melany glances over at Kaladin's target glad to have a worthy opponent.

Kaladin gave another sigh, straightening a bit. He was appearently emboldened by the good preformance.

"Hm! Not bad in the slightest." Collin remarked with a nod.

Selkie walks over to Starlight and Collin, "Not bad at all."
"So Blue released you already," Starlight asks.
"Yeah I'm just banned from using a bow in the future. Now wait this is Kaladin's moment to shine so let's not spoil it," Selkie smiles.
Starlight gently takes Selkie's hand and they hold hands as they watch Kaladin compete.

Collin smiled at the two breifly, then turned his attention back to the contest as well.

Selkie smiles back at Collin. He hoped Kaladin at least felt proud of how he places. Selkie knew he was proud of Kaladin and knew Douglas would be proud too.

Kaladin stepped back from the line once he was finished, watching the last couple of contestants take their shots.

Melany shoots after Kaladin and her arrows hit near the center of the bullseye. She walks over to Kaladin once she is finished shooting, "Very impressive Kaladin."
