"I only just found out about this!" Kaladin replied. "I have to ask though, what are you celebrating?"

Blue smiles, "Most of these festivals celebrate holidays or special occasions but, in this case, they're celebrating my coronation. I on the other hand am trying to enjoy my last moments of free as a prince."
Melany smiles, "Now you understand what your father went through."
"The burden of the crown is a heavy but necessary one."

"Oh, Blue! Congratualtions!" Kaladin chimed.

"Thank you, Kaladin," Blue responds finally catching sight of the joust, "Oh no. Tell me dad isn't planning on jousting."
"If you interrupt it now you'll shame both of them beside Lord Luner knows what's he's doing," Melany tries to reason with Blue.

"He looks very sturdy, too..." Kal noted.

"I know but strength, accuracy, and horsemanship are major factors in a joust. Dad hasn't been doing well in these past few months," Blue explains in a low voice, "that's why my coronation was moved up."

"Hm..." Kal mumbled, fumbling with his bag.

The two knights get ready to joust. Luner's horse Champion was eager to prove himself to his rider. Luner on the other hand was trying to prove to himself that he still had what it takes to be a knight. As the two knights charge towards each other the first pass misses. On the second pass Luner is knocked off of Champion who only sighs. Gavin quickly dismounts, "Are you alright?"
"Give me a hand up will you," Luner responds.

"Is he alright??" Kaladin yelped, gripping at the strap on his bag. "He isn't hurt, is he??"

"I'm not sure. Let's go down and check on him," Blue answers.
Luner is pulled to his feet by Gavin, "Thanks."
"Are you alright," Gavin asks.
"Yes, it's not my first time being knocked off a horse," Luner then sees Blue walking towards him, "Though I have a feeling I won't be able to joust again for a long time."
