"Then let's hurry!" Collin chimed and Noble took off.

Kaladin looked on in curiosity.

Selkie watches calmly as the two knights get ready. As the joust begins the two knights sped towards each other pointing their lances towards each other's shields. At the first pass neither knight is knocked from their horse. At the second pass Gavin knocks the other knight off his horse.
"Well Kaladin what did you think?"



Starlight quickly follows on Whisper.

"A-are they hurt??" Kal asked worriedly.

"No Kaladin," Luner responds walking over to them, "the armor protects them from that. The lances are wooden too which helps. The only reason the fallen knight can't get up on their own is because of how heavy the armor is."
As Luner says this the knight is helped up and walks away.
"There are a few more scheduled if you two would like a better view."
"What do you mean," Selkie asks forgetting Luner's title.
"You two are my honored guests. You can sit with the royal family on the stage. Besides if something does happen it will Kaladin a better chance to get to the mishap quickly. Not that I'm expecting trouble," Luner responds, "Also Waverider we are in public please mind your manners."
"Sorry Your Highness."
"It's up to you two if you want to sit up there with me or not."
"Should we Kaladin?"

"S-sir!" Kaladin yelped softly, taken aback by the offer. "Erm... I-I... well! I-it would be impolite to say no... I think? O-only if it's alright with Selkie..."

"It's fine with me," Selkie responds.
Luner smiles leading the way back to the stage. Maria rushes over to greet Kaladin with Red following.
Melany smiles at Kaladin before turning her attention back to the jousts.
Blue watches the jousts before seeing Kaladin, "I'd heard you were back. I'm glad you're visiting."

Kal smiled a bit in greeting. "I-it's very nice to see you all again, too."

"So what do you think of the fair so far," Melany asks.

"Oh, exciting! I've never been to anything like this before..."

"Had you come earlier you wouldn't have missed the archery competition,"
"And Melany winning it," Blue responds sounding both proud and annoyed.
"Blue are you really that upset about my beating you," Melany teases.
"No, it's just you didn't have to disguise yourself to compete, yet you did."
"Would my have being honest changed your mind about going easy on me?"
"Fair point," Blue looks around, "Where's dad?"

A large brown warhorse walks towards where the jousts take place. Calmly the rider directs the animal to the starting place as Gavin takes his place again.
Hollow notices that the other knight's shield is covered, "Maybe throw the match Gavin?"
"No I'd be insulting him if I lost on purpose."
"You'd be striking Lord Luner if you won. That would not only be embarrassing for him but dangerous for us," Hollow explains, "We're not outlaws because of him."
"I know that but at the same time I think he'd be far angrier to know I threw the match," Gavin gets ready to go, "Hand me my lance will you please?"
Hollow hands Gavin his lance, "You know it's actually nice to walk among others without fear of being hunted." The squirrel in his pocket chirps in agreement.
