"I don't see why we can't go tomorrow, then. And if you're worried, if the Duke asks, you're making a public appearence. Important for morale," Collin said with a soft laugh.

Kaladin beamed. "I've never been to any sort of celebration off the island before...!"

"Alright then you'll need your medical bag because chances are you and a few other medics are going to be on duty. I look forward to it too. So should we get ready to go now," Selkie asks.



Starlight smiles, "Yes that would work nicely. And all I would have to do is wear my old clothes."

"Selkie... I always have my medical bag on me. I have you to look after, remember?"

Collin returned the smile. "I may not be a noble myself, but I know my way around them. Lady Opal would do the something similar."

"Well, you don't have to look after me," Selkie responds embarrassed, "I know you always have your medical bag; you've always been a good medic."



Starlight nods once, "Let's hope we can avoid any trouble when we go."

"Well, somebody ought to," Kal chuckled lightly.

Collin smiled. "Let's not jinx it now."

"Should we get going then," Starlight asks.




Selkie smiles shaking his head, "I know and I thank you. Now come on or we'll miss the best part."

"Absolutely." Collin said with a nod. "I'll get Noble ready and we'll ride together."

Kaladin beamed, looking perhaps the most excited in the positive sense Selkie had ever seen him.

Kai wags her tail as she runs after Kaladin and Selkie. Selkie quickly leads the way to where the fair is taking place. Calmly Kai walks beside Kaladin as they pass the food stalls. She jumps slightly when there is a loud crash of what sounds like metal hitting the ground.
"Sounds like the jousts have begun. Should we watch," Selkie asks.




Starlight goes over to Whisper gently talking to her as she gets ready to go.

"Jousts??" Kaladin asked, thrown off by the crash as well.

Collin rode up beside them on Noble and smiled. "Are we ready miss?"

"You'll see when we get there," Selkie responds, "now come on or we'll miss them." Calmly he guides Kaladin and Kai towards where the jousts are taking place. Luner is sitting on a chair on the stage for royalty. His eyes are focused on a knight approaching the starting position for the jousts. The knight was in full armor and holding a shield with a blue griffin on it. Blue, Melany, and Maria also watch the knight on the grey horse from the stage.

Hollow was standing beside the knight, "You know it's not too late to back out, Gavin."
"Just hand me my lance when I ask for it Hollow," The knight responds.



"Ready," Starlight is mounted on Whisper.
