Kaladin smiled warmly. "It went well! We had a very nice time." He hummed.

Collin nodded. "Of course."

Selkie looks around warily gently helping Kaladin on the ship, dropping his voice, *Did you happen to talk to King Luner? Only reason Im asking is Ive heard some rumors about smuggled goods lately Id like to put to rest.*



Starlight smiles, *In the meantime is there anything youd like to do?*

Kaladin nodded a bit. "Erm... He did mention something about that, yes. Grains, frogs... N-not that I think you'd carry anything illegal like that! Just..."

Collin twitched an ear, then shrugged. "I have no other plans."

Selkie frowns grabbing Kaladin*s arm and more or less dragging him down to the cargo hold, *Did he say what kind of grains?* Selkie lifts a tarp revealing a half full barrel of grain, *This was part of the crews* rations. *

*What about a game of chess then?*

"He didn't say which grain... erm. The foreign, poisoned sort. Also frogs." Kaladin mumbled.

Collin smiled a bit. "Are you sure? I have to warn you, I'm good, and I can't go easy on you."

"We've played before Collin so I know how good you can be at playing chess. And I certainly hope you wouldn't go easy on me," Starlight responds smiling.



"Great," Selkie mutters, "so chances are I'm carrying contraband and didn't know it, even though the grain isn't poisoned given Luner's past records with this sort of thing predict he's going to be cautious and burn it."
Kai runs down to the cargo hold, A knight on a red warhorse is coming down the docks towards us.
Selkie mutters something under his breath.

Collin chuckled. "Well, in that case, I'll get the board."

Kal frowned slightly. "Isn't that...?"

"Luner," Selkie confirms as Luner's voice could be heard asking for permission to board the Crest. Selkie looks at Kaladin, "I'll explain the situation."
Selkie lowers the gang plank for Luner, "Welcome aboard your highness."
"Thank you Captain Waverider. I came to see how you were and if you were carrying any cargo," Luner responds noticing the tension.
"I am, you should know we have what is left of the crew's rations of grain on this ship. All of us on the ship have eaten from the barrel so it's safe."
"No other cargo?"
"I am a merchant Lord Luner, I have other cargo and if you would like to see it you can come down the cargo hold," Selkie offers.
"Do you happen to have cumin?"
"I believe so."
"May I buy some?"
"Of course."


Starlight looks around, "Have you heard the rumors about the fair in Luner's kingdom? Would you be interested in going if the rumors are true?"

Collin smiled a bit as he set up the chess board. "I hear everything miss." He chuckled. "And yes, I would be. We haven't had one in these parts for quite some time now, too."

Kal's quills rustled slightly during the exchange, but he promptly relaxed again as it wound down.

"Also, there is a fair in the kingdom. It would be entertaining at least to go," Luner finishes.
Selkie smiles, "Isn't Sunburst a bit old for the joust?"
Luner glares at Selkie, "I wasn't going to enter."
"My mistake your highness," Selkie tries to amend.
Luner sighs quietly and leaves.
"So, Kaladin should we go to the fair?"



Starlight helps Collin set up the board, "So when should we go? I think the jousts start tomorrow."
