"He'd rather grow his plants, sir," Kal clarified. "Is somebody in your castle sick??"

"No but just in case something happens," Luner responds.
"Just in case someone is hurt, his highness wants me on standby, away from my clients," Douglas growls.
"You can still treat your clients."
"Very few will come to the castle you know that. Time of the essence in an emergency and the castle is far."

Kaladin frowned slightly, deciding to let the two discuss it on their own now.

Realizing what was happening Luner stops, "If you would like to visit the castle you are more than welcome. I know you two want to catch up so I'll be on my way."
Quickly Luner leaves trying to keep at least some of his pride intact.

Kaladin stepped back to give the ruler pleanty of room to do so. ". . ."

Douglas shakes his head, "Some people are to set in their ways Kaladin. Perhaps I am one of them, but Luner is also one. At least he is willing to take criticism though."

"I... supposed that's good, at least." Kaladin responded quietly.

"I'm sorry you had to deal with that Kaladin," Douglas apologizes, "Is there anything you want to do today?"

Kaladin shook his head. "I only just wanted to talk with you again!" He chimed.

Douglas smiles, "Alright then what do you want to talk about?"
