He is from a team of four, of which I can say no more. Fast foward to the year the King of Thieves told me that Night was an experiment his home was destroyed completly by an accident or earthquake. I have yet to discover which."

Sonic bit his lip. "Yikes. That's.... That's pretty bad."

"That's the tip of the iceberge Sonic," Damon says, "Night had a brother, a younger one by three years, who sought out their parents. I investigated as well and found out where and who their parents are. From what I was told from the officer at the scene one of Val's lackies mistook Night's brother for him and Night's brother died in Night's arms. From that day on he promised himself no one else would get hurt because of him. In fact he choose to help people; mobians who live on the streets mainly orphans. That's why he asked for money Sonic for them not for himself. Night lives on less then fifty rings a year and lives that way to help others. Just to cut a very long story short I need someone to help him or at least bond with him and make him understand that he isn't alone."

"Sure," Sonic stated without much hesitation. "Yes. I'll do it. But on one condition."

"Huh?" Rookie looked up from his cookies. "Oh. Hey Luna. What's up?"

"Ganz and I need help going after Void," Luna says.


"What condition," Damon asks.

"You promise not to use knockout gas on me or my companions anymore." Sonic replied simply.

Rookie almost choaked at that. "*Coff coff* ... Ahem. Sorry about that. Erm, I mean, sure. Just, uh... avoid the combat though, okay?"

"Sure you can avoid the combat," Luna speaks.


"I didn't mean to do that to you but sure," Damon agrees.

"Alright. But, uh..." The hedgehog glanced out the window. "It's getting late. I should probably take Ruby back."

"Getting back to Ganz," Luna suggests.


Ruby frowns, "I'll call dad and tell him to expect me home then."

"Hey. Maybe we could do this again sometime." Sonic suggested with a smile. "Leave a note next time."
