(I know I've asked a lot this week but would you mind if Kaladin had some of the power transferred to him? It would explain why he was a ghost later on. Keep in mind after this he wouldn't be able to use it.)


Selkie sighs as the power drains from him, "Kaladin I have to do something to stop this nightmare or good people will loose everything."

Kaladin sighed, averting his gaze. "I know you do..."

(Yeah, go for it.)

Selkie takes a deep breath, "I think the three of us are suppose to do this together. To be honest I'm afraid of you getting hurt Kaladin, Starlight and I are... we have a connection to this thing, this Pearl from our lineage and our powers. You on the other hand don't, I don't want you to get hurt, if something starts to go wrong promise me you'll let go and try to contact Locke to leave." When Selkie finishes speaking he offers the hand holding the Pearl to Kaladin.

Kaladin froze, then bristled. "...N-no! No, I'm not letting you push me away again!" He almost growled. "I won't leave. If you're going to see this through-- Which clearly, I can't talk you out of anything-- then that means I'm staying too."

Selkie looked a little surprised that Kaladin almost growled, "Very well. I think if we both hold the Pearl the results won't be as severe."

Kaladin took a deep breath, appearently having been somewhat startled by his own outburst, then nodded. "A-alright...." He reached out a hand, placing it on the Pearl. "Like this?"

Selkie nods once as the Pearl began to pulse. Starlight and Selkie poured their powers in the Pearl. The power went through the Pearl to Kaladin before returning to the Pearl and going to Selkie. Selkie focuses on the returning power fighting back the water drop by drop.

(I don't know how to describe how the Pearl would feel using it, especially not for someone used to Chaos energy. It would be interesting to see how Knuckles would react to the Pearl though right?)

(Knuckles would lift a brow at it like "What the ever-loving heck is this why is it like that--"
Kal, on the other hand.... See, he's not really used to large sums of energy, just the faint auras. Dependong on how much power that Pearl is putting out, I'd imagine it ranges from a vauge, dull discomfort he can't quite put a finger on to outright pain. Seems like he's acting as a sort of buffer here, so... :/)

(Being that Selkie and Starlight which are both still technically coming into their powers are pouring their powers into the Pearl, it would be probably be somewhere in the middle.)

Kal started, then winced a bit in discomfort, shoulders tensing and quills rustling. "U-urf..."
