She eyed him over her gold-rimmed glasses, and sighed. "I should tell you no, he needs his rest, but you wouldnt listen to me, anyway. So yes, you can see him, but keep it short. Oh, and Robin," she said, crooking a finger at Puck, "a word before you go." Puck gave Jason a grimace of mock terror and followed the nurse from the room.

Jason rolled his shoulders with a wince as he stood straight up,smiling faintly at the mock terror. He walked over and in to see Ash,keeping quiet and wings and tail to himself.

The cuts were still there, but they were faded now, less severe. His shirt was off, and clean bandages wrapped his stomach and torso. His breathing was slow and deep, his chest rising and falling with each breath. His face was peaceful, free of harsh lines or worries, but even in sleep, he looked a little sad.

Jason walked over and knelt besides him,running his eyes over him and then sighing almost silently. "Maybe we could keep you out of this,the war and all. The SnowBliders are pretty cold,they could keep you cool if I at least bring one,Snowball would be willing. She'd be able to keep you cool and safe,so you'd stay away from the danger and stay cool." He said softly,not even to himself.

He in took a sharp breath,softly,and stared down at their hands for a moment before looking into Ash's eyes,pain and the urge to pull away strong in the hazel and purple. The cracks over his cheeks seeped a bit deeper,spreading over where his white markings where,despite not being lit at the moment.
