Kurt sighed slightly. "You could never ruin anything..." He said quietly putting his arm awkwardly around her. "Those girls didn't know what they were saying. Heck that other one didn't even try to give me her number and acted like Id actually want to see her fake make up face again." He joked a little hoping to make Katherine smile.

Katherine smiled slightly, leaning into him when his arm went around her. Her smile vanishing after a moment as she looked at the floor in shock. Frozen as she thought to herself. Her hand still nervously messing with her bracelet.

"Are you okay?" Kurt asked her unwrapping his arm from around her starting the car to drop her off at her apartment.

Katherine snapped out of it. Sitting back in her seat, staring at the floor. Messing with her bracelet more nervously now. "I-It's just...no one's ever protected me before..." she said quietly, her voice cracking nervously. Glancing at him before looking back at the floor.

Kurt sucked in his breath thinking before letting it out slowly. "It's about time someone has then." HE said reaching a hand over covering her's with his bigger one with a slight smile.

Katherine smiled a bit more, blushing. Looking at the hand that covered hers, keeping her from messing with her bracelet. Turning to look at him, leaning over and kissing his cheek gently. Leaning back into her seat again, looking at him with a bit of a smile. "Thank you Kurt.." she whispered softly. Wanting to Kiss him at the moment. He was so amazing. She knew she didn't deserve him, but wanted to be with him still. Even if he didn't love her yet.

Kurt smiled a little more when she kissed his cheek sighing a little as he laced his fingers in hers, rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. HE swallowed thinking of how he had hurt her. He didn't deserve her to protect.

Katherine smiled a bit more when he laced his fingers in hers. Letting out a quiet sigh when he rubbed the back of her hand. Loving when he did that. Looking at him when he sighed, knowing what he was thinking about. "Kurt...I'm okay..." she said quietly. Bringing up his hand to kiss each of his knuckles gently. Not wanting him to feel bad about that.

Kurt shook his head a little slightly glaring at the window. "But I'm not okay with you being okay... No one should ever get away with hurting you, especially not me." He said his hand tightening around the steering wheel.

Katherine sighed, kissing his knuckles again. Even more gently then before. Seeing him grip the steering wheel tightly she tensed a little. Not like him being mad at himself. Relaxing before leaning over again. Kissing his cheek gently, her lips lingering a bit before she leaned back into her seat again. "It's okay Kurt, I'm fine...the only way your going to hurt me is by hating yourself..." she whispered, holding his hand closely to herself. Looking at him a bit sadly.
