Misty knew of Bheka*s tactics and tried to throw Bheka off balance using her wit and most likely a stick she found. She didnt want to hurt Bheka determined just to knock him over and then check if he was okay. Charging at him with the stick she aimed it low between Bheka*s paws and worked getting enough leverage to flip him over.


Kai howls a greeting to Seaweed who was near Apatos. Surprisingly there were no signs of a hurricane like Selkie had said there would be. Kai gently nudged Locke pointing down at the sea to try and show him how calm it was.

"Ah know, Ah see. Either there was a lapse in tha forecast... or we have ourselves ah very talented otter," Locke replied. "Drayke, take us down."

Bheka lifted his left paw slightly, placing it on top of the stick and digging his claws in. Good, she came to that conclusion on her own, and that meant she was at the very least discerning enough. In one surprisingly abrupt movement for a normally slow animal, Bheka flicked his claws down and to the side in an attempt to get the stick away.

"Or possibly something else," Selkie answers looking exusted, "I don't understand why the winds have stopped up until now I wasn't sure Drayke, the talented flier he is, would be able to get throw it. I was able to keep the water from flooding Apatos too badly with the Pearl though there is still damage. Kaladin are you alright?"



Misty held onto the stick not suprised. She'd seen an old wolf do the same after accidently hitting the old wolf with the stick. Misty tries again aiming for Bheka's chest trying not to hurt him just knock him over. She didn't want to risk hurting Bheka and hoped Armory wasn't around to see this.

Locke sighed, climbing down from Drayke's back. "He was really shaken up, laddie. Nodded off in mere minutes after myself an' Kai finally got 'im to calm down. Ah'd guess it was a mixture of the stress and tryin' ta keep 'imself warm that wore him out," He informed Selkie. He glanced around, then lowered his voice a bit. "...'Tween you an' me? There's no way he wouldn't've waited it out normally. Ain't tryin' ta be that person, so don't take this the wrong way, but... You likely already know this. He frets over ye, and he does it a lot. Ain't sure if bein' separated was better or worse for him. Ah think it'd be best if you oughta talk to 'im soon as he comes to, aye?"

Bheka shifted slightly, loosening his grip from the dirt and just rolling with it, apparently satisfied.

I take you're pleased, Misty asks, So have I displayed enough that way I have less of a chance of getting pummeled if Armory finds out or worse if my mother does?

Selkie nods once, "I know Locke I worry about him too and I regret leaving him behind or even trying to follow my father's trail. Can you carry him a bit? I'll carry him if you get tired but it's not safe here right now. Jenny's agree to let me stay at her place until my ship's repaired. Before you ask the wind took down the two masts among other damage. It'll be a while before I'm out on the open sea again."

Bheka rolled back to his feet with a bit of a twinkle in his eye, then gave a nod. Something like that.

Locke nodded a bit. "Aye. No need ta be sorry though; Kal would've insisted you to go an' keep lookin' for Drake. Between 'im goin' with ye or stayin' behind, he was prob'ly safer this way." With that, he carefully picked up Kaladin. "Think it's possible this is only tha storm's eye?" The old collie suggested

"That's what I'm afraid of Locke," Selkie responded quietly, "the folks on the island are to. I honestly think if the stormcallers hadn't helped me this place would no longer exist. Locke my father's trail was just looking for others like me. It doesn't matter though. Come on the restraunt is this way," Seaweed carefully swam towards the docks before Selkie got off and led the way to Jenny's.
"Are you three okay? What happened, did you get caught in the hurricane sir," Jenny asks concerned.
Kai barks quietly.
"Oh no you are not coming in here again dog. You about wrecked this place last time."
"She's my friend's dog please Jenny I don't want him waking up and not seeing his dog there. He might think something happened to her," Selkie asks.
"Keep her on a leash, a short one at that," Jenny hands him a rope, "you know where your room is."
Selkie leads them upstairs to his temperary quarters. His hand hurt from where Kai had bitten him as he had gotten the leash on her.


Misty gently put the stick down before going over to Bheka trying to thank him and see if he was okay.

Locke sighed, setting Kaladin down. "Kai, take it easy lass." He said. "Ah dislike it just as much as you do, but it's just until we can leave." He sat down on a chair against the wall. "So, laddie," He addressed Selkie. "Should Ah stay around in case ye need another Stormcaller?"

Bheka lightly tapped Misty on the nose with the tip of his claw. Yes, he was perfectly fine.

"That's up to you Locke," Selkie responds, "as much as I'd like your help I know you have more then just yourself to think of including your crew. Right now Apatos is anything but a safe place."


Misty growls slightly at the tap. Her nose was sensitive and sore already, I'm glad your okay.

Locke glanced at the window, then sighed. "Aye."

Bheka tilted his head slightly, then shuffled over to some nearby plants, gesturing for Misty to follow.
