Just be careful she isn't acting right, Seaweed warns, Something has her acting strangly and I think it might be connected to something I found a few days before I picked up Kaladin here.




Misty goes towards the Sacred Grounds again. She didn't understand but she felt something pulling at her, demanding she come here. Before Kai had left she had put Misty with another family that treated her well enough but she never would stay home. She remembered Bheka's kind nature along with Armory's shy protectivness. The same thing that had lead her to the Sacred Grounds the first time was leading her back now. Taking another step she wondered what Armory would do to her this time. Her mother had told her later that night to avoid the Sacred Grounds because the Guardian would harm her or worse but she didn't believe the stories. Putting her nose to the ground she works on tracking Bheka knowing that Armory would be nearby him.

Aye, Locke acknowledged and Dryake swooped down, landing in the water with a splash. While he wasn't nearly as strong a swimmer as Seaweed, he was large and strong enough to stay near the boat, if only for a short while. Locke gave Drayke a pat on the neck before hopping onto the small boat, ears folded back. "Kai, get whatever supplies ye both need onto Drayke! Ah'll handle Kal,"

It wasn't long before Misty ended up snout-to-snout with Bheka. The small echidna regaurded her curiously, lifting a paw in greeting.

Kai nods once grabbing Kaladin's bag, some water, and the book Seaweed had given them about the fish. Carefully she gets onto Drayke about falling off him as she got on, Sorry about that. She glances behind her trail curling around her leg as she sees the wave, Locke hurry up monster wave coming!

Misty wags her tail happy to see him again. She gets in a playful stance looking around for Armory as well, Bheka you won't believe what I did today! I caught my first bird whatever it is. She holds up a few feathers that were could not possibly have belonged to a parrot.

Locke growled softly, glancing at Kal. "...Sorry lad," He mumbled, picking him up and carrying him onto Dryake. "DRAYKE! WE NEED TA GET OUT OF 'ERE, NOW!"
Drayke snarled, slapping his barbed tail and broad wings against the water as he took off. Seaweed, dive down where the waters are calmer and take a break, we'll handle it from here.

Bheka sniffed at the feathers, then sat down with a short huff, quills rustling in slight exasperation. He gestured at Misty with a claw and tilted his head inquisitively.

Seaweed nods once disconnecting himself from the boat before diving down into the water. Kai whines at Kaladin worried about him.


Misty notices the questioning look, I'd like to join the team besides I feel drawn to this place. The family my mother placed me with was alright but I like it here more.

Kaladin was almost desperately clinging to Locke's jacket, shaking hard. Locke let out a soft sigh, reaching out and gently smoothing his quills down. "Shh, take it easy lad. Yer safe, Kai's safe, we're all safe. We'll get ye warmed up soon as we can."

Bheka paced a circle around Misty, inspecting her paws and shoulders and fangs. He stopped in front of her, digging his claws into the dirt and raising his quills, meeting the canine with a level stare. ...I need to see first. Get me to move.

I don't want to risk hurting you Bheka, Misty responds calmly her green eyes locking on his. Emerald green eyes not controled by the Master Emerald but maybe something else.

(May I put Misty with Armory? I mean she doesn't have to be connected to protecting the M.E. but maybe a compainion?)


Kai whimpers quietly still worried about Kaladin but trying to calm him while avoiding falling off Drayke. Carefully she gets closer to Kaladin trying to lick him reasuringly.

(Yeah, you can. Amory is a shy lonely boy so he wouldn't say no unless he thought there was a serious risk of her being harmed by staying. Bheka's trying to see wether or not she's capable of fending for herself, be it by brute strength or wits.)

Don't worry about me. Bheka assured her. I've escaped stranger jaws.

Locke sighed softly as Kal's shivers began to subside. "Just take it easy..."

Alright but don't say I didn't try, Misty uses her speed and brain to try to attack Bheka without getting quilled. She had seen her mother's attack style before, one similar to Dizzy's, and a few other wolves fight. She runs full speed at Bheka trying to grab him and run in circles.


Kai glances at Locke and Kaladin worried about both of them.

Bheka stood his ground, undaunted by the charge, and simply allowed his quills to do most of the work. With those spines angled in all directions, he knew it would be exceedingly difficult for a creature of Misty's size to get their fangs of claws close enough to do any damage without getting injured themselves. Despite this, he knew he wasn't invaunurable; some beasts were plucky enough to attack anyway, and a clever creature could imporvise a weapon or throw him off-balance, exposing his soft underbelly. Either one of these tactics would prove satisfactory to Bheka; he just needed to see that Misty was capable of them.
