Darius continued, and the cave sloped steadily downward, into the bowels of the Earth. Soon, everyone but Darius losing all sense of direction.

"Only about a mile further-as the eagle flies, that is," Darius said, "Probably about twenty more miles of cave."
Suddenly, a form with dark fur, though with a radiant, visible aura, came into view. It was female, and quite clearly young and shapely. Her eyes were a beautiful amber. As she drew nearer, it became clear she was a bat. Darius immediately knelt, followed my Shara and Aven, and Darius said, "It is an honor to be in your presence, Zaelia Minotress."
Zaelia ignored him, and made a beeline for Myra.
