The old sailor nods once, "He needs you. Then again I can't control your choices but I can help guide. I know what will happen without you and I know the outcome of events with you there. I won't lie both are bad but they are much worse without you. Then again I can't make your choice."

Kaladin nodded steadily. "...A-alright."

The turtle looks at Kaladin, Why do you hesitate? I know it can be hard to be away from everything you've known but it can also be wonderful to explore.

There was another hesitation before Kaladin answered, more direct as if he could still conceal the fact that he was uneasy at the moment. "...I don't w-- don't need what happened this time around happening again," He responded. "I don't know if he'd do this again. I'm not even angry, I-I just..."

The turtle looks at Kaladin then goes to the water, Let me show you how he felt leaving you behind and why he did it. I'm not saying what he did was right but he promised he would never do that again while he was in the land of ice and snow.
The ocean showed the death and fears of the mobians who went with Selkie to the northern lands. It also showed Selkie alone vowing that he would never return to the northern lands and that he would never abandon a friend again no matter what. The ocean showed his regret, fears, and his wanting to protect his friend from this foolish mission. Lastly it showed his decision to leave Drake's trail.
"I hope this proves something to you," The old sailor spoke calmly.

Kaladin stared at the water for a moment, then sat down, gaze lowered. "I... didn't think he'd come back... even if he made it," He admitted after what felt like a while, then glanced back at the sailor with a conflicted expression. "...I should go with him, you wouldn't be here if that wasn't the case, would you?" He climbed back to his feet, running a hand over his quills nervously. "...This feels like a guilt trip, really," He eventually gave, pacing to the side a bit. "I try to move on, he comes back, and then a spirit feels as if I'm important enough to talk to in my dreams. But I'll go,"

I'm sorry you feel like that, The turtle responds, if you want to stay on your island and miss the world that's your choice. Just know that you missed an opportunity that won't come around again.
The old sailor frowns, "The northern star is a constant spot in the sky used to navigate. Everyone needs that constant. Keep that in mind please. Now it's time for you to wake up."

Kai nudges Kaladin, If you don't wake up this second Kaladin I will howl in your ear.

Kaladin huffed, opening his eyes and glancing over at Kai. "Hm...?"

We have a major problem, MIsty disappeared, Kai barks worriedly, I tracked her scent and she went towards the sacred grounds!

Kaladin quickly sat up. "W-why would she go out that way?!"

Amory paced irritatedly, much to Bheka's annoyance. He let out a short snuff, raising anf lowering his quills in an attenpt to get the Guardian's attention.
"I know," Amoty growled. "Or, I don't know, rather. You don't say no to spirits but I can't leave the grounds unprotected."
