"i just need a minute." she says, but in reality she was keeping watch for her. in her years in the streets it was easy to get jumped with out another person keeping watch.

Lyra turned to follow, as an arm wrapped around her throat, pinning her against a big, muscular form. Lyra got off a terrified yowl, but her throat was quickly crushed, and she felt a knife's blade pressed against her throat, while an oily, smelly voice whisper in her ear, "Why, you're a pretty one. I'm going to take you into an alley and****** you, maybe a few times."
