"For now maybe, they were never going to kill me because the information I actually had on all of you was way too valuable. Plus I'm the only one the army knows about that knows how our cores fully work. Kinda important for the big guy Umbra to know if he's planning on trying to use X's.. And that's just what I was counting on.
All you're doing is just putting everyone else here in huge danger just dragging me back like this. There's only one way to end this stupid war and if I have to break in to their ranks again to do it, I'm all for it.
I'm not going to let X's work just go to waste. How many more of us have to die before the army's happy?"
He huffed.

"Don't even answer that because you already know and you'll gladly just sell us out again if they tell you to."

Zeth*

Annnnd... she was officially pissed. "Low blow." Zeth picked him up and plopped him onto the table. The nerve of some people... "Oh wow. Good job. You caught me, their on their way right now to get you. Happy?"

Of course she was being sarcastic. Zeth had previously decided to cut all possible and non-useful ties to the military. She growled lowly, grabbing her gun and deciding to go and do some target practice in Saras' range.

He rolled his eyes, making his way back to his metal pile before she irritated him any more.

Sereya
The arguing had woken her up at this point and she was staring at Scias, dumbfounded.
"You.. gave it to them?! What the **** is wrong with your brain? Are you stupid, Zeizan?" She almost shouted at him across the room, stopping to take a moment to compose herself with a deep breath before she continued. "Has your training seriously taught you nothing?"

"Sereya, you and I both know that X rigged his core to explode if anyone ever found his body and tried to take it. Just needed another Daarizi close enough nearby to trip the killswitch. It's the kind of thing he would have wanted to happen. Taking out the leader of the Orias Upega just like he took out that Protector he was hanging around at the start. Whole thing would have really been a huge blow to the army's forces. Literally."

Zeth*

She didn't know much about their species, but she knew enough that his plan was possible, but yet again flawed. There were so many gaps where something could go wrong. At the same time, it was in general a reckless idea, exactly the kind of thing Scias would propose. She adjusted her silencer and began to fire, pausing every so often to catch what they were saying.

Sereya
"Just the kind of reckless bullcrap I'd expect from you two-bits.. Holy Proxima, why would the Council even send you two morons down here in the first place for observation? No wonder this rock's a heap of trash now.."
She pinched the bridge of her nose and exhaled a big sigh.
"Look, you're gonna really have to get me up to speed here. What's all this Protector-Exterminator business anyways? And how did you both even manage to get caught up in it in the first place?"

Scias
"Maybe. But I was confident it'd work. Not like we can really die anyways..
And Protectors are pretty much anyone against the army.. While Exterminators are the soldiers working for the army hunting them and the rest of the humans down. X and I weren't trying to get involved in any of the fighting at all. Just.. kinda fell into it when he caught a Protector in need of help. She was working with a few humans too, so we didn't really think a lot of it."

Sereya
"I swear.. You two always find a way to get yourself killed by trying to play some kind of hero.. The Council might be able to restore you guys, but even they have their limits to how many times they plan on doing it. Being this reckless isn't a good look for us, you know. We're not out here trying to destroy any relationships with other species, especially not a bunch of first contacts.. Ugh.." She buried her face in her hands.

She coudn't help but agree with Rey. Scias was being stupid with his plans. Something about the council caught her attention. She never knew exactly what the purpose of the council was, but clearly, they had a lot of power, if not too much.

(I mean, considering they are basically a bunch of senators playing god with technology and a militarized society, that's a pretty safe assessment. At least only the Daarizi have to deal with them. *shrug*)

Scias decided to not say anything further to upset her, not really having much to save his case anyways.
He knew she wouldn't hear it anyways. He gave an audible sigh, twitched his whiskers in annoyance, and rested his head on his paws.

Zeth*

This was one of many reasons that she wished X was here. Scias was once again on a role, upsetting every girl that makes contact with him. 'X' would probably have said something like 'I've told you not to **** with pissed of women.' He always took it to far.

She rolled her eyes and kept trying to shoot the target without using her horns, but with no success.

Scias eyed her from across the room, flicking his tail and noting her frustration, but made no moves to help her, knowing he'd just manage to get in her way.
He seemed to do that a lot around here with his stupid ideas. ..Why was he feeling like this? This was stupid too.
He burrowed into the metal pile to both hide himself and his creeping emotions, not wanting anyone to catch wind of them as much as he could help it.

Zeth*

She just kept missing shots, which was not exactly helping her stress. Zeth was about ready to give up for the day. She fired a few more rounds before putting her down her gun and beginning to brood. There was a lot going through her head and it went something like this.

It was nice to be able to kill some time without worrying too much about being hunted. At the same time, I was the reason we were found last time...why they were found. Maybe if I turn myself in, I could get away with saying I had recently been brainwashed...then I could pretend to be terrible at my job and fake having no info, then they would just have to kill me. That might be the simplest solution.

I don't know though...Quilin's brother said he was always happy to see me. He is a protector, so that might be a good influence on my habits. Her brother was always...so kind. Quilin had mentioned him having a soft spot for me.

If I were to leave, then non of these people would have to worry about betrayal. Traqil never questions my judgment, a nice change from this bunch. I kinda...miss him. Hexic might like to come. I might ask if he would like to tag along. You know what Zeth? I think I'm headed to live with Traqil for a while.

Had Corasi been reading her mind, Zeth knew that Corasi would let her go. Corasi would be just as glad as the rest of them to get rid of Zeth, of that she was certain.

She didn't know exactly where they were all planning to got after this, but she knew whatever they did would be safer without her involved. Traqil seemed to be her best, and most preferred option.
