Rosa nods her head. "I accept your apologize. I am sorry that I assumed that you were a back stabber like most humans. I am also sorry that I got you exiled from your home. You are not like other humans like I thought." Rosa said.

Alex smiled sadly. *then i guess we learned to not assume, or bad things happen.* then a large thought hit her. *you know, we assume so much about the other race, but we dont know anything specific. and im curious. so, if you dont mind me asking, what are elves actually like?*

Rosa nods her head. "Elves care for one another and children being born are rare to us since not many survive. Elves are more reserved and rarely make allies. They are more respectful to the elders." Rosa said. "What are humans like?"

she nodded. *well, humans are often kind and caring, and respect one another. we make friends and allies often, and try to keep peace. however, we also are greedy, and often do things in order to gain money, power, safety, or a mix of those, often without caring about the consequences. so when elves often insult us, the insults are true. i think we may have started the hate on elves in the first place. i try to be kind and caring myself, but occasionally i get stubborn and lash out, often with big consequences. like how i exiled us.* she looked down, feeling guilty. she had been thinking about this a lot. *God, im a failure.*

Rosa nods her head and sighed. "You are not a failure just stubborn and have a hot headed personality, but you are kind," Rosa said.

Alex looked at her, shocked she would say this to any human, never mind her. *really?* she whispered.

Rosa nods her head. "Yes really," Rosa said.

*i... thank you.* she said softly. *your good too. your so... different from how i thought of elves. but in a way i really like. your kind. you keep a pet, which takes love and kindness and care. you didnt hurt me when you could have after we were exiled. you gave things to me after i gave things to you when you didnt have to. you... are so... different. and i like that about you.* she smiled.

Rosa blinked in surprised. "Your welcome. You are different then the other humans but you are kind when you gave me the water skin. You didn't hunt me down and hurt me with your sword when we were exiled."

*yeah. then again, male humans often act with emotions and would have hunted you down. females are often calmer and think things through. and after doing that, i learned that while i didnt like you at first, i didnt want you dead. and i still dont.*
