She gave Vexin a look. "There's an Internet cafe across the street; I need to check something out. Do you want to come with me or wait in the car?" Her tone was super polite as she parked in a Kmart parking lot

He was shocked at her polite tone but only his eyes showed it. "Whichever you'd like." He said,searching for any emotions coming from her that would cause her to be polite to him.

She was polite, but a little too polite. "Well then come on. You should eat something."

He was confused,shuffling through her feelings but finding nothing. He was put a little on edge with how polite she was being. "Okay." He said slowly.

Yeah, she was pretty good at hiding her feelings, even from herself. She crossed the street. The cafe was one of those places where you can buy cans of soda and sandwiches. "What do you want to eat?" asked Electa as she paid for half an hour's internet time. "I don't want to stop again tonight."

He was confused,really confused,because he could usually get into everyone's feelings.But he got out anyway and closed the door. "I'm j-just get a sandwich,I don't need much." Sure,said his rather masculine body.

She bought two sandwiches anyway and handed them both to him in their plastic containers. "Here, put these in your bag."

He nodded,feeling he should say thank you...but he still wasn't sure about this girl who just so happen could hide her feelings just out of even his reach. He carefully took them and then slipped them into his pull-string.

A few minutes later, she was sitting at one of the computer terminals, laboriously typing something into a search engine. The computer next to her was empty, so Vexin could sit there if he wanted. A white church on a broad green hill appeared. The Church of Angels site.

Electa was the only person he didn't absolutely not know so of course he sat at the empty seat of the computer next to her.He was being very careful with his shot shoulder,pain still pulsating in it. He was marveled that Electa hadn't let him bleed out,but then again she needed him so...no caring there. He saw the Church of Angels sight and felt both his spine hum and stomach twist.
