The next thing Felinus was aware of was an annoying, incessant beeping. Opening his eyes blearily he glared at his alarm clock. Reaching out a paw he shut it off. Sitting up with a groan he looked around. Last night had exhausted, which made the day ahead seem more dreary than ever. With a sigh he got up stifling a yawn. While he wasn't fond of water, a shower would help to wake him up.

A short while later after cleaning up and shoveling down a quick breakfast he set off to follow his target once more. Hopefully it would a be quiet day if he was lucky...if he was really lucky he would find out what he needed for the case and could call it closed. Making sure the door was locked behind him he set off down the street.

Sonic stood proudly on the edge of the sprawling garsslands ahead of him. Knuckles had made it perfectly clear this morning that he was not in the mood for for an early morning run, so he was on his own for now. With a deep inhale, Sonic rustled his quills and broke into a sprint. Here we go...!

Felinus trailed after his target, while more awake he still wasn't in the best of moods. He wasn't certain if it was his tiredness or the annoying case. Tracking the flashy critter was fairly easy. He wondered if nearly all the citizens of this planet were so easily followed. There seemed to be few with much alertness about them. His eyes caught his target greeting another creature. Young, flashy, fancy, obviously wealthy. It would seem his client's concerns were not completely unfounded. Hopefully a little more investigating would give him the info he needed.

He ducked his head into the random magazine bought for the purpose. He was hard pressed not to burst out laughing. Seems he got some info sooner than he thought. There in front of his nose was an article about said female across the street. A famous actress to boot eh. His target had expensive taste alright.

He paused a moment his body rigid as his ears registered a faint sound. It was familiar to an unpleasant occurence back on Nekoline. He tried to shake it off. He had seen none of thier kind here...yet. The faint sound, so far off it could barely be registered even with a Neko's hearing, sounded very like a howl. Did the canine creatures here howl like that, and if so why. Felinus frowned turning back to his case, though the afternoon seemed less pleasant than before. He hoped Rune showed up at the subway. He could be wrong, and he did not want to scare her...but it was better to be safe than sorry.

A fifteen minute long run was all Sonic really needed to refresh himself. With a satisfied smirk, he dug his heels into the dirt beneath him and ground to a halt. He turned around and leaned up against one of the nearby palm trees, gazing across the hills and towards the faint outline of the town in the distance.

Luna had gotten up earlier that day and did a light work out.
Then headed to work. Said workplace was much calmer than the day before, and everything had been sorted out.
She heard a sound similar to a howl, so faint she thought she didn't even hear it.
She wandered if Tigerstripe heard it as well.
She would try to speak with him soon.
( should Tigerstripe be near the spa? Also, Luna/Rune is still at the smoothie bar)
