"We'll leave you to get yourself ready and situated, dear. If you need anything at all don't hesitate to ask." The maids say kindly, waving before walking out of the room and shutting the door behind them.

The king watches the chefs intently, "I don't want anything to go wrong tonight, she deserves this."

Alex smiled at her clothes, then set the ones in her bed down for tommorrow, then walked into her closet and closing the door.

10 minutes later, she came out with a black, sparkly dress she was rocking. She had a pearl necklace on her neck, silver high heels, and a small watch on her left arm. And somehow, despite in a guys body, she looked like she was made for those clothes. She smiled, then opened the door and headed down to the main hall to eat.

The king was not there, having kept his word when he said the feast was for her and her only. The multiple food selections were already on the dining room table, and her chair was already pulled out for her.

Alex looked at it all in wonder, sat, then ate. At first she used her manners with utensils and neatness, but soon she was tearing into the food as a Lycan, her female form perfectly fitting the clothes. She couldnt help herself. It was too good, and she hadnt eaten in a long while.

A half hour later, Alex was in the seat, sated. Most of the food was missing, but suprisingly the dress was still clean. She burped and smiled, patting her stomach.

The king walked in at the moment, carrying a single plate that had shiny utensils on it and very few crumbs. He winked at her as he passed, setting the plate in the sink and walking back to her. "Did you enjoy your... meals?" He jokes.

Alex smilef and nodded, still a Lycan. *yeah. Thank you.* then she licked her chops and kept eating, but a lot slower. After a bit, she asked, *why are you treating me this way? The food, the room, the clothes. What did I do to deserve all this?*

Suddenly he tenses, his eyes showing he had put his guard up. He became the king everybody knew him as, the feared Lycan king, showing no mercy, seeing all things as they should be seen. "I've seen many people throughout my life, Alex. All that have kneeled before me had nothing left in their eyes, nothing left to fight for, to live for. I could see that in you, you didn't believe in yourself, but I did. I've believed in everybody that has been brought to me for a crime, but I didn't act on it until now." He states, his voice bored despite the deep emotion he'd felt about the subject.

Alex froze and thought, then walked over to Caspian and hugged him, crying softly. *thank you. Thank you so much. And im sorry for asking about that. Really.* then she hugged him tightly, crying a bit.

His guard falls, he hugs her back, forgiving her easily.

After a bit, she broke the bug and smiled, embarrassed. *um... sorry.*
