But when I did my research I found out that it actually does happen. It has been on going for centuries.

Allright everyone...Since this question seems to have stumped everyone, I will give you all additional time. You have until I get home from work to solve this. Below are your free hints.
Hint 1: This maelstrom is over 33ft wide, and 15ft deep, and has been naturally in existence for roughly 2 to 3 thousand years.
Hint 2: This maelstrom does in fact occur every six hours.
Hint 3: Maelstrom is another name for whirlpool.
Remember everyone, I need the name of this particular maelstrom and where it is located/occurs.

All right folks, as you well know once a week I place all the winners from the previous week into a drawing. I often use Wheeldecide to assist me with this part. Any whoo...I just finished placing the names into that drawing and have selected our weekly grand prize winner.
