Hearing this, Moonstone approached the small human, looking curiously. "I'm going to go look at more humans!" Moonstone declared, running off. "What're the bits?" Mica asked Ruby, finally standing up normally.

"The bits are a type of food. Humans need food to survive." Ruby said as sapphire ran after moonstone,"wait up!"

"Oh, sounds strange" Mica said, Onyx nodding in agreement.

Moonstone suddenly stopped running, falling onto her knees as she suddenly turned a bright Lime green, her skin flowed with the color, meaning she was feeling the same level of the emotion as the human she had bonded with. "S-Sapphire, w-why, what happened?!" Moonstone said, looking at the lime green "is she okay? This is the deepest emotion I've ever been! She's so scared!" Moonstone said, her entire body dyes the Lime green color

"I-I have no idea.. Wait, is that Steven? There he is, I'll ask him!" Sapphire waved to Steven and he came running,"Sapphire? Where's Ruby?" Sapphire pointed to the fry stand,"Is Sadie okay? Moonstone here feels what she feels and she seems terrified!?" Steven looked confused,"No. I have no idea what happened.. Maybe she's scared of something at home, or she saw a scary dog?"

Ruby nodded,"Yeah. Amethyst says that food taste good, sometime Garnet eats food, That's all sapphire just so you know."

Moonstone took a deep breath, calming herself down. The flow from her skin faded, though it was still lime green, it just didn't produce any light. "Right, it's a peaceful town here, I'm sure she's fine" Moonstone said as she stood back up, the light emitting from her body now completely gone.


"Yes, I'm sure it is" Mica giggled. Onyx kept quiet for a few seconds, debating something "I want to try food" she suddenly declared.

"Okay, back at the temple we have some food that steven eats that you could try." Ruby told here as Peedee handed the bag of fires to her.

Sapphire nodded and patted moon on the back,"Let go to the temple."

"Okay, cool, Mica, do you wanna eat too?" Onyx asked Mica as they began heading back to the temple. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try" Mica said, wondering what eating would be like.

Moonstone flinched at the touch, not used to physical contact unless in a fight. "Right, yes, of course" Moonstone said, starting to walk back to the temple, her skin still dyed lime green, much to her annoyance.

"When will you clods let us out?!" Olive shrieked.
"Can we just speak to the leader of the Crystal Clods?!" Zircon yelled to no one in particular.

Chrys nodded,"When Garnet gets back, she can speak with you. Garnet it like our leader, but not really."

Sapphire noticed Ruby walking back to the temple,"Ruby! Wait up!" she called. Ruby looked behind and Saw Sapphire,"Let's wait for them."

"Okay. Whatever. I knew you weren't the leader, you traitorous Chrysoberyl!" Zircon spat.
Olive sat quietly inside the bubble. For hours, Zircon had pounded on the walls of their prison.
