Alex sat up, sweat coating his red-black forehead, for a scary moment he forgot who he was and where hes was.

Hummer was up near the ceiling. She swooped down and alighted behind Alex. "Wassup?"

"GAH!" Alex cried literally jumping in fear. "Don't do that!" he said his bristling black fur laying flat.

"Sorry, I'm really quiet for a ground-type. But that doesn't answer my question," Hummer replied in a cheerful whisper.
