I would like to head to the moor

of course your still in! I was just giving you that morkko :P

You walk across the moor towards where the nixi pointed. The cold wind blows you this way and that. You can almost see the smoke from the village, and hear the sound of voices when SPLURCH! you are up to you wasit in bog! The cold, wet, peaty water seeps over you like a vacum. You can feel yourself sinking slowly deeper. Does this bog havee a bottom? How far down? you find yourself thinking. What do you do?

Try to swim (and this is probably where I die)

You try to swim, but the thick liquid (or possibley non-nuonious fluid lol) just draggs you down deeper. It's up to your ribs. It's up to your sholders. It seeps around your neck. You cant breathe. Foul-tasting muck sloshes into your mouth. It gets darker. The cold begins to drift away. You're warm, you're safe, you want to stay here...

With a lurch you take a spluttering breath. The bone-chilling cold rushes back and slams into you. An unfamiliar face stands over you, blurred. "Can you hear me?" A femine but young voice asks clearly. You try to nodd, but your head spins and you are almost sick. You feel yourself being rolled onto your side. "I'm putting you in the recovery position." The voice explained. A coat is laid over you and your sylesti cuddles up beside you, sharing its warmth. "I'm going to get help. Stay here. I will be back soon." You faintly hear the sound of the voice's owner running away.


The next time you wake up, you're in a bed. You sit up and strech. What happened? you think to yourself. You look over to the side, your sylesti is lying on the floor watching you intently. Then you realise that you have no idea where you are. As panic rises, a door opens with a soft creak. A small girl with mousey brown hair stands in the doorway, holding a tray. She walks over to you and places the tray on your lap. On the tray is a hot drink, and a bowl of warm broth, with bread on the side. "Eat." the girl recomends. The voice is familiar. "YOU!" you gasp with astonishment, "you saved me!" The girl nodds. "Father says you can explore the village, but mother thinks you should remain in bed for today. They're still arguing downstairs. I'd eat before it goes cold if I were you." The girl said quietly. She curtsyed and left the room.

Get out of bed and ask where I am

I look around for a way out, maybe the morkko left the door unlocked?

You crawl out of bed andd stumble across the room, grasping the wall for support. Every inch of you hurts more than should be allowed. Using the wall as guidance you make your way towards the door. A slim corridor lays before you. You creep to where the stairs drop down to the lower floor. Just. One. Step. CRASH! You attempt to pick yourself up from the bottom of the stairs, causeing yourself more than the already increased pain. A thin man and woman bustle to you. They are both red in the face, flustered. Their words wash over you. The girl appears by the time they tart to shout at each other. She leads you away to a empty room and pushes you into a pouffy armchair. "Your proably wondering here you are," she pulled up a wooden stool and sat by you. "You are in the village of Murlan, the closest to the mountains on the fell." She looked at your eyes, seing into your soul, "what are you doing around here, Bog Swimmer?"
