Bradyn sighed. They quickly neared his house. It, as well as all the other houses in view, was definitely sad. It was as if they were all slumped.

Artemis looks at the house and hums slightly.

He led him to his house, opening the door for him.

Artemis ducks his head and steps into the house.

The inside matched the outside. The floor consisted of dirt, and the walls weren't much better. Old wood planks ran up to the ceiling. A few of them had begun to rot and/or grow mold. No second floor and the ground floor wasn't exactly spacious. Big enough for two, apparently.

Artemis looks around with his eyes. Analyzing the layout of the interior. He closed his eyes and hums. "Where's your mother Braydn? " Artemis asks.

He only responded by stepping farther into the house. He led Artemis to the room where his mother lay, dying, possibly already too far gone. She was in a sorry excuse for a bed. She was pale.

Artemis looks at her and sighs. He went closer to her and check her vitals. She was to far into the sickness but she wasn't near death.

"She has a chance to survive. I can delay the symptoms for awhile till I make the cure. Alright, " Artemis says in a more serious tone.

He nodded. "Yes. Yes, that's fine. Anything you need to do to try and save her," Bradyn replied.

Artemis nods and says, "Alright. I need you to grab lukewarm water and a towel. Grab honey. The fresher the better,"
