Scarlett rose up and spoke, sounding tired, "Scarlett Doves, sir. What happened to our professor?" She asked, a bit worried.
"Steven Blackheart, what is yours?" Steven asked, a welcoming smile forming on his lips.

"The professor has asked that I take his place for the year, Miss Doves. It is a pleasure to meet you both, and I hope you enjoy my class." He said, writing Professor Ackley Wilson on the board as students began to file in.

Scarlett nodded as the students began to take their seats, the Slytherin and Gryffindor on opposite sides of the room.

Ackley eyes Harry potter curiously, chuckling as he watches Lucious Malfoy's son glare daggers at him. "Welcome to the history of magic, students; it is a pleasure to see you all. I am Professor Wilson, your new professor for the year! Now, I assume everyone has their textbook?" He says as he stands and rounds his desk.

Scarlett pulls out her textbook and shares with the person next to her as they forgot theirs.

"We'll start with Witchhunts today. Can anyone tell me what they know about the topic?" He says, leaning against his desk.

Scarlett and Steven, along with a few others raise their hands.

"Steven?" He says, looking at him expectantly.

"The witch hunts were times back in the 1600s-1800s when witches were hunted and then hanged for their practices as other people thought they were followers of the devil." Steven said, sounding rather uninterested in the topic.

"Correct! Five points to Slytherin." He says, nodding approvingly. "I'll give you all an essay, three rolls of parchment on 'Witch Burning in the Fourteenth Century Was Completely Pointless- Discuss.' Do the research, and once I see you again at the end of the week, we will do a project over it." He says, looking to the class for any questions.
