Illya looks at the creature calmly, "If you're hurt I can help heal you." Illya tries not to look threatening. She knew that this creature was not from the area and could need help getting back to where ever it was from.

Casey smiled shakily, taking a small step back. "How can I help you?", He sputtered on instinct, almost immediately regretting it. "Do you want... Uhm... Birdseed?" He knew this would get him nowhere, but it was second nature at this point. He flashed another shakey smile, putting his arms up in some sort of pathetic show of defense.

One moment they were going down a small yellow slide at her school's playground, the next she fell onto the scratchy grass, she looked around herself, before finally looking at the pigeon thing. Illis instinctively covered her face with their hands, then noticed her skin. It was blue, grey, and.. covered in scales. They screamed loudly at whatever might be on her, trying to pull it off, but it seemed like it was attached to her skin.

Illya glances over in Illis's direction, "Are you okay over there? Also I wouldn't recommend screaming otherwise the creature here might attack you." Her fox ears are pinned back as Illya is more than a little annoyed by the screams.

Casey glanced between the pigeon beast and the little... girl? He guessed she was a girl, it was hard to tell from the scales. The brunette sidestepped slowly, keeping his eyes trained on the monster, making sure that he was standing as a barrier for the child. He would have gone to console her, but in this situation, no; the best he could do was make sure the child wouldn't get hurt.

Kanoa's breath leaves him as he tumbles back from the force of the blow. He gets to his hands and knees, regaining his breath. Something hit his feet and he grabs at it, yelping when he grabbed something apparently connected to him. Kanoa stares in confusion at his tail. He does not remember that being there before. He shrugs his confusion aside and gets back to his feet. That mystery could be solved as soon as the pigeon-thing would not be able to harm anyone.
Kanoa pauses to see if the others have a better plan to placate the beast.

Alyx glances placidly towards the cause of the scream and does a double take at the dragon child. Now that he's thinking about it, there were a few other unusual beings in the group surrounding the pigeon-thing. There was a person with horns and a tail and someone else with animal ears - cat perhaps? Alyx supposes that it was normal for a land that had a hostile pigeon monster. They almost forgets about the fact that there is a hostile pigeon-thing nearby until their thoughts loop back to that point. He shakes himself from his thoughts and takes cautious steps forward, keeping a clear distance away from the pigeon-thing, until he was in a position to protect the child.

The beast roared in sheer fury, not nearly as loud as its awful, eardrum-shattering, shrieks, but deep enough to sound eerily humanoid-like, the sound you'd think of when imagining an orc's battle-cry. It looked back in forth between each of them, looking as if it were deciding which of them would pose the least or most danger, only noticing the child after it yelled. It made its way towards the child, no longer giving much attention to the others, and it looked angry.



tip: everything in your inventory is usable in and outside of battle and can be opened at any time during the game.

Casey's breath stopped as soon as the Pidgeon monster made its way towards the kid. "Oh god-", He muttered, patting his pockets to see if there's anything useful. He found a rope, he stared at it for a short second in confusion, as it wasn't in his pockets before this. Casey shrugged, tying it in a loop resembling a lasso. He flung it at the beast's head, and just hoped that it would be enough to stop it for a little while.

Illya takes the flint and steel out of her bag as well as one of the candles. She tries to get the flint and steel to spark to light the candle. If that worked she would wave the candle at the creature. Illya had had enough of this creature and its bad attitude.

Illis looked up slightly still sobbing at someone addressing her, then they saw the pigeon thing rushing towards her and started crying louder and flailing their arms like she was swatting at flys hoping that they would hit it and send it buzzing away like a mosquito
