Cody stared for a moment, then slid back into the nearest hedge and sat down. Okay, maybe I fell asleep at the laptop again, He tried to reason as he felt the hair on the back of his neck prickle. Yeah. That makes more sense. And I know how to prove it to myself. Words are jumbled up in dreams.... He tugged out his phone, input the code, and pulled up the web browser.

Suddenly, a car pulled up in front of him, and a teen girl his age poked her head out. *no time to chat! Get in if you wanna live!*
