Thomas nods. The peace, however, isn't meant to be. There's coughing from the room across the hallway. A "hang on" is heard vaguely. The look of guilt just gets worse. It's now mingling with regret.

And, to answer Seeker's question, probably more. When he looks away there's a small shout from someone random.

(Angle will definitly do her homework on Remus since he's a stranger. She'll find out everything she can and possibly make her decision based off of that.)


Angle notices, "Calm down Thomas just take a deep breath and focus on me okay? So what do you do for fun around here?"

Seeker sighs before finishing his drink and leaving the area.

(Ok, so here's what Raz finds about Remus. Using Bravura, she finds the earliest history. It does, as he had warned, list him as dead. It was an unsolved missing persons report. The report was from years ago, as in the age doesn't match up. If Raz can find more on this case, it's been cold since. No accounts from anyone on his last sighting, and his twin, someone named Roman, was killed in a house fire. He was the key to this.) When Remus is sure she's done looking at that, he speaks again. "And if you're looking for the more recent... Sanders."

Thomas doesn't seem to take an interest in focusing on that, though. At least not fully. "Think of reasons, or when Patton visits things feel at least slightly more normal."

(And dependent on where Seeker goes depends on of he gets to meet someone new. And he can, if he wants, ask people about Roman to see if they know anything.)

(I think Raz will do that sorry but it's a wierd situation)


Angel smiles, "Come on Thomas you can do better than that I've seen you in action."


Seeker goes to look for more information on Roman.

(It's ok, we know this and so do the characters)

(When using Sanders... the main flow is some web series that Remus seems to have had part in. Using Sanders Raz can't get much, aside from basic knowledge of lacking impulse control and, once again, death. This time there's confusing information and theories involved, such as if others and Remus had previous lives. Marking this death, however, is a tribute video. A case report is available, however, this time marked as a hit and run. Connected to that hit and run is the murder of the culprits who plowed Remus over.)

Thomas spares Angle a look, but his focus turns back to the other room. A few thoughts cross his mind, and one of them triggers a breath in. "Or maybe I can go visit my neighbor next door and see if he's doing ok?"

Now, Seeker can look in a few places. Some resourceful others not. Options are: seeing if any shady alleyway people will give some info or others that are openly showing weapons. One of these people includes someone with an axe.)

Raz looks at Remus opening the door a little wider, "Try anything and you will wish you had never met me. Now what else do I need to know about you?"


"Sure let's go then," Angel gets up stepping away from the door a little, "Let's go cheer your neighbor up."


Seeker is the type that most people would avoid if they could as he walks to the alleyway, "Excuse me anyone here know Roman?"

"I carry a morning star on me and as much as I know how to use it cannot do well in combat. Keep any and all fires away from me."

Thomas is quick to the room on the other side of the hallway, where Virgil has stopped coughing up the black substance, Patton has taken a step back, and Logan has arrived and is focused on helping Virgil clean. Seeing Angle and Thomas, Patton smiles. "Oh, hi. Feeling better?" Thomas, despite having courage when deciding to visit earlier, its vanished. Logan spares Thomas a glance, though he does nod a greeting, and Virgil looks at him. "I guess you don't even need someone going through 'what if' scenarios to lose courage." And, though not a joke for anyone who doesn't know them, Thomas eases up.

Quite a few of the people book it. One bold stays. "And is there something specific you want to know?" He asks. This would be Fuse, leaning against the wall with his weapon on his back.

"Okay then," Raz mutters, "Come in and I'll figure out something for us to eat." She quickly goes into the kitchen getting her phone on her before preparing some food, "I hope you don't mind lenguni."


Angle smiles glad that Thomas is slightly happier, "Are you alright Virgil, Patton?"


"Just anything you can tell me Fuse," Seeker explains, "Roman approached me earlier and I wanted to calm him down rather than lighting an fuse with him."

"I don't actually know, as odd as that sounds. If there's something you want me to do so I can thank you I'm willing to."

"I'm happy Thomas worked up the courage," Patton responded.
"Aside from the recent mess of this black stuff, doing ok. Now to ease some of those 'what if's. No, I dont hold it against you. You had the naturally anxious such as myself, the fanciful Roman who isn't usually a logical thinker- at least wasn't always, and the usually unreliable Remus."
"Yea... and thanks."
Thomas looks genuinely relieved.

"He's perfectly capable of telling you himself, as long as he isn't losing his sanity at the moment. That would be the band that glows. When it glows, it's only a matter of time before he blows. He tries all he can, but that doesn't work too well." Fuse isn't going to say more unless asked about something specific.

Raz nods once, "No thanks I got it since it shouldn't take more than ten minutes. In the meantime there should be blankets near the couch go ahead and pick out a few to sleep on tonight."


"Been a long time since I've heard that name," Angel mutters quietly to herself, "what have you heard about those two?"


"He was blowing up when I talked to him Fuse," Seeker explains, "What's Roman's story?"
