Alastor looks at the fairies in complete silents. Alastor doesn't really trust the fairies since they are a either a former enemy or an enemy. He's going to protect his brother if things go south from this meeting.
Matthew smiled and says, "Yes, I also want to discuss that as well."

Varless smiled. "Good. I was thinking we would have two representatives work on getting the people to... agree with this change." He said. Marcy looked up confused. She hadn't heard of this plan yet. Her brother continued, "I plan to send my advisor here, Marcilia Verian Fell. I trust her more than anyone."
Marcy looked shocked. She most definitely didn't know about this part.

Matthew nods and says, "That might be a good idea." Matthew then thinks about this and says, "I'll also send my advisor, Alastor Roy. I trust him also,"
Alastor is shocked and it showed for a few seconds before he reeled in the shock.

Varless smiled. "Perfect! I will have my servant send for a carriage immediately so they may begin work at once." He said excitedly. He snapped his fingers and one of the servants ran out.
Marcy stood up, grabbed her gloves and put them on. "Well then, it will be nice to work with you." She said and held out her hand.

Alastor politely smiled and shakes her hand. "It will be nice to work with you Lady Fell," Alastor says in a gentlemen voice.

Marcy nodded. She appreciated the clear respect. She did not like this situation one bit but she at least felt this man wouldn't be a complete misery to work with
Varless looked at his sister then back at the other king. "Excuse me for a moment. I need to talk to my advisor." He said as he pulled her aside.
At this point, Marcy was glaring daggers at him. "You could have warned me!" She said in a harsh whisper.
He sighed. "I knew you'd hate it and never agree. I had to go about it this way!" He returned.
She huffed then began walking back to the table, keeping her composure to the best of her ability.

Alastor stands by Matthew side. Matthew is nervously fidgeting with the hem of his shirt knowing he is going to get a lecture. "Brother I appreciate what you are doing to bring peace to both kingdom but you also need to think things more thoroughly before agreeing because you need to know what you are getting into so that way your not surprised when things go wrong. I'm not mad since you are still learning how to rule. But I;m proud of you," Alastor says while the two fairies are talking.
Matthew nods and says, "Okay brother next time I will,"

As Varless and Marcy return to their seats, the servant comes rushing back in. "I've retrieved another carriage sir!" He yelled.
Varless nodded at him. "I truly hope that this will bring about peace between our peoples. War is ugly and I hate how driven apart our two kingdoms have become because of our forefathers. If there is any more business you wish to discuss, I am glad to do so, but I have nothing more in mind. When you are ready, I can send our advisors off to their work and we may split ways." He said.
Marcy holds her head high. She set her hands on the straps of her spell bag to keep them from wandering. She had to remain as distinguished as possible but she hated this, all of this.

Matthew nods and says, "Yes I agree with what you are saying. I have no more business here," Matthew politely smiles and says, "It was nice meeting you King Carless,"
Alastor kept his professional face on and continue to stand besides Matthew side.

Marcy began to walk out. Varless looked at the other king one last time. "Thank you." He said before leaving after his sister. She gave him a hug then he got into his carriage. She went to stand beside their carriage, not wanting to get in before the other advisor joined her.
