Currently, yes, however if you go searching you can get enough to buy one of the more expensive eggs ^^

As you enter Umber Forest, you hear the faint chirping of insects and birds. As you travel you pick up some small pebbles on the path, and suddenly the forest grows quiet. Ahead of you lays a young Nudibuck, nibbling something. It spots you and runs off, leaving behind a small Water Leaf. As you continue down the path, you notice a small cluster of Shimmering Pebbles beneath a bush. Spotting nothing nearby, you grab a small handful and exit the forest, beaming proudly for your findings.

They are androgynous, having both reproductive organs
(Makes things easier to organize xD)
However if you wish to assign a gender to make reffering to them easier, you are more than welcome to!
