Magpie smirked to herself, leaning back in the shade of an upturned school bus as she wrote away in her notebook with a pen. An honest to god felt tip that hadn't burst or dried out in the heat yet! The notebook she was writing in was an almost completely empty one too not even made of old paper; god people gave out goods when it came to food.
It took a second for her to regain her focus though and she went back to taking inventory of her trading stock as night fell and she waited for her target to arrive. Her buyer told her that he commonly explored this area due to the shade and little shops (completely looted) nearby...

She climbed to her feet, shivering slightly at how cold it had gotten, before slipping into the broken down shop without a noise. Her source was right and she watched her target barter for a couple strips of dried meat before striking.
Within a second she had pinned the light-haired male to the wall by his wrists and throat while the trader walked off to find somebody else to trade with, leaving them both alone.

He kneed her in her crotch area and flipped her on her back with his feet taking her weapon and holding it to her throat "nice try princess better luck next time" he said with a smirk before getting off of her and picking up his food and walking away into the shadows of the buildings, he hoisted himself onto a roof and kept walking, he wasn't fazed by the unsuccessful female, he ran into a couple of those, he also killed a few, so he tried to keep it simple and not loose his cool
